I worked with Dr Nakamura who was very kind in understanding that this was my first time bringing my chihuahua for dental work in a long time. She charged me a $29 exam fee and one of the nurses gave me a quote for dental treatment, bloodwork, etc which they honored the next time I visited and Although there were a few discrepancies from the 1st time I visited, the doctor was very considerate in helping me and owning the miscommunication which I feel is the best thing a business can do and is rarely seen nowadays. Dr. Nakamura is wonderful. We didn't think our cat Remus, who was attacked by a raccoon, was going to make it but he's doing great. Can't recommend ACH enough everyone is friendly and very helpful.

What a wonderful place to go to!! From the very beginning when I pulled into the parking lot I appreciated all the signs pointing me in the right direction. All of the staff, from the front desk to the techs to the Dr were so incredibly nice and so kind to my senior dog;) The facility itself is kept very cleaned, no hair from previous animals the rooms, which is so nice. The prices are very fair. This is going to be our new vet office! Thank you so much!!

ACH is the best clinic I've ever visited! I'm really glad that my dog and I found this place. Very professional doctor and super kind and friendly stuffs there:) I'm going back to Japan next week and needed the health certificate from USDA accredited veterinarian but I couldn't book any clinics in Berkeley this morning. Christina helped me get an appt for 4 puppies. This may sound like no big deal but this was the 3rd place I called. She was so kind and thorough. I will be brining my other dogs to the Animal Care Hospital of Walnut Creek!

Excellent and friendly customer service from the entire staff here. It was a smooth and fairly quick first experience with my kitten who had tapeworms. The check in/check out was fast and easy. I called around to other places in the Oakland area and they expected me to wait up to 4 hours to be seen. A bonus to this great place is affordable prices. I had such a positive experience with Animal Care Hospital of Walnut Creek today. I had an emergency need for my senior dog and was extremely upset and worried. I called three emergency hospitals in the area, all of which turned me away or told me I would need to wait up to six hours. I called ACH basically sobbing and Christine told me to drop what I was doing and come in immediately. My fur baby, Mocha, was due for an annual exam checkup, which was only $29! This place is following protocols due to the Variant virus, so you are not allowed in with your pet, but no worries because the staff was so caring and took very good care of my Mocha. Veterinarian- Dr. Garg came out to the parking lot to meet me and gave me so much knowledge/advice about Mocha's health that I will take into consideration! We are so thrilled to finally find a veterinary hospital that goes above and beyond to make your pet's experience and your experience is beyond wonderful. Our cat, Booty has diabetes and is having all sorts of issues. Dr. Nakamura and the staff have made Booty so comfortable each visit. This was not true at our last vet, he was always terrified.
