I don't even wish to give this vile place one star. I brought one dog in and paid over a thousand dollars with no diagnosis given or call back from any doctor, though I had specifically asked for that. Then, I brought in my other dog on an emergency basis, but no treatment was given at all. They said that because they didn't receive her previous records, they couldn't treat her existing condition. Unprofessional staff as well as vets. Puts you on hold for 15 min every time you call and then charge you for being more than 15 min late- go figure! Had a concern about a blister on my dog and the vet sold us some expensive wipes (easily available on Amazon) - which I should add did nothing for the blister

So untrustworthy. I recently established new care here for my elderly dachshund. At the time of our first visit we talked about an oral surgery she'll need, and renewed a prescription. The office failed to call the prescription in to our pharmacy, and I had to follow up several times with them to get it filled. They never provided an estimate or plan for the surgery. I contacted the office to discuss why I was not happy with the care provided and charges. Instead of working with me, they were very rude and completely discontinued care, including finishing up that visits things - leaving my cat without finished care/what she needs. Some of the prices are great, but they will get you in other ways to make up for that. For example, significantly overcharging for medications and other things. The low exam cost IS NOT WORTH IT. This review is long overdue as it has truly been a heartbreaking and painful experience to lose my dog, JJ, after we trusted JJ in Dr. Nakamura's care. If you love your furbaby, DO NOT TRUST DR. NAKAMURA. We took JJ in for a routine dental cleaning in December 2021 and Dr. Nakamura extracted 27 teeth in one procedure. Dr. Nakamura lied and said the procedure went well but after we took JJ home, he never recovered. I called to ask how much it would be to neuter my dog, a Shih Tzu. I understand they can be more difficult to perform surgery on due to their respiratory system (flat nose) The girl that answered the phone said "$800" My eyes popped out of my head! You're kidding, right?!" Her response...."I don't knoooowwww that's whhhaat it says when I looked it up." She sounded like she was about 10 years old. UPDATE: The reply to this review is completely misleading & a petty response to cover up their faults. My puppy wasn't dropped 5ft, she jumped off our truck bed (she was completely fine but of course I still worry) & secondly she wasn't poisoned by THC at my house. I DON'T smoke. We were out at a friends house (they smoke) & I usually watch her very closely but I had to step out for a moment to help them. She must of got something off the floor or that was dropped somewhere. So after I posted my initial review the Doctor did reach out to me. It was a clerical error and they had attempted to reach out but the email was not correct. Unfortunately this does not excuse that they did not request records from Sage and know what medications my baby was on/how far gone she already was. They did offer me a partial refund and informed me they would be retraining their staff. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone in the future as this just adds more anger on top of the heartache.

I am kicking myself for allowing the vet to administer the enema. Dr.Nakamura did not explain to me that the administration of an enema could be very dangerous and risky. I'm not sure what happened in the backroom when the vet techs were administering the treatment. Did they manhandle her? Did they need to bind her legs to administer the enema? I don't see how the enema could have led to her not even being able to stand up, but something happened when she was back there, and now I feel like we've accidentally hastened the en... read more
