Dr. Faggioni is not only very thorough, but he's personable and thoughtful. He gives recommendations as if your pet was his. And, he looks and sounds like Tobey Maguire. Can't go wrong with Dr. Faggioni.

my boo has been a patient here for almost two years. as a first time cat mom, everyone has always been patient with my endless questions and has always been more than helpful! boo can be difficult to deal with but dr. palvino and dr. cao are always great with him! the entire staff is so happy and passionate about what they do. while a trip to the doctor is not always fun, I know that boo is always cared for greatly when he is there! (also the resident cat is a cutie!)

Everyone here was so friendly and knowledgeable! The visit and medication I needed for my pup was a bit pricey, but I was still very happy with our experience. They were able to squeeze us in by making an appointment three hours beforehand, the wait after check in was literally five minutes, and the staff was so kind to me and my dog .. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place.

Yesterday I almost lost my 15 year old Chihuahua, I was so afraid!! I went to Austin Vet Care and cannot describe how calming and caring everyone was. The vet came in and spoke to me and I immediately felt so relieved! My loyal little girl is so much better today. I don't know how much longer I'll have my little girl but I do know I now have the best vet clinic to care for her!! One last thing....they do not gouge you there. They did ONLY what was necessary and I was pleasantly surprised by their fees!

My bf and I found an abandoned yellow lab tied behind a vacant house in the Windsor Park area. I posted a message on NextDoor.com to see if any neighbors were interested in adopting him. Not only was he adopted by an amazing family, but Dr. Palvino responded to the post and offered to cover ALL FEES for free (heart worm testing, neuter, exam, and vaccines)!!! Austin Vet Hospital is a wonderful place. The staff was incredibly friendly, Jessica the vet tech was sweet and knowledgeable, and Dr. Palvino was so generous, caring, ... read more

OK, like most people I am pretty dang picky when it comes to Vets for my dogs. I just moved here about 2 yrs ago and I picked Austin Vet Hospital because the reviews seemed decent and it was close to where I live. I just recently had to take my 9 yr old 123 lb dog here because he had broken a tooth and it was infected and needed to be removed. I was a nervous wreck! I used to work at a vet place back home so I am crazy picky (annoying) and very concerned about vet practices, etc. I find everyone here to be very professiona... read more

BEST VET EXPERIENCE EVER. Dr. Palvino and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I feel they provided customer service that was above and beyond what I have received from other vets. My Chihuahua was very sick when I brought him in and with their expert care I now have a happy and healthy companion again. I will bring my beloved dog there from now on.

I have a 4 year old greyhound rescue with serious fear aggression. He doesn't trust men at all and was likely mistreated as a pup before we got him when he was 2 years old. We've tried hard to condition the aggression out of him but it's been slow. I've had at home vets work with him and we struggled to get blood drawn and vaccines administered, mainly because he's more aggressive on his own turf. I had to take him over to Austin Vet Hospital once when he got an ear infection and Dr. Palvino was amazing and had the magic... read more

The staff at Austin Vet Hospital is excellent at diagnostics and treatment. Their expertise totally improved the quality of life for my elderly pup--who, Dr. Cao realized immediately, had thyroid problems, not just irreversible decline. They do recommend a lot of precedures, but I have never been made to feel irresponsible when I said "no". Another huge plus is the friendliness and caring of every single staff member.
