Probably the best vet hospital in town. I trust them completely with my four animals and have for four years through multiple surgeries and general vet care. All the doctors seem as competent as any vet I've been to. In addition, the people are nice, the hospital itself is clean and comfortable to visit, and the prices great for the quality of care.
Staff worked w/me to reschedule the time of my cat's appointment, for that same day. Everyone is pleasant & not rushed. They obviously love animals and are very caring.
Wow, what a week! On the day that our daughter's baby was born, her 11 yr old yorki-poo "Turbo" started peeing blood! We are still not out of the woods yet wrt Turbo's recovery but I wanted to say THANK YOU to the team at Austin Vet Hospital who have been angels sent to help us through an emotional rollercoaster week. This places seems pretty popular. The staff is friendly. Some people just come off a trail and bring their dogs in to weigh them on the scale in the front lobby. Staff doesn't seem to mind. I do wish there were separate cat and dog entrances. Cats seem to get pretty nervous and dogs can be more rambunctious and are definitely more used to riding in cars, etc. Front desk service is pretty good. I've only experienced one doctor as of late. I scheduled an appointment this week as a new patient for my cat and was blown away with the positive experience. The vet was friendly, thorough, and was kind enough to explain each and every detail of my cat's treatment. It's a good thing to have confidence in your vet and this vet left me confident that my pets will be in the best of care.
Love the team at AVH!! They are always so thorough and gentle with my sidekick Lola! Although they only take appointments, they were so compassionate with me when I failed to make an appointment for her nail trim and took her in (they happened to have a little bit of room for her). Shout out to Larcy for being so patient and willing to make this work! Great job team and management!
The staff are very friendly and professional and their rates are reasonable. My kitten seemed as comfortable as possible in a vets office! It's very clean and the gender-neutral bathroom is appreciated.
im so upset with myself for not writting a review sooner, but the cliche saying holds true. you dont know what you got till it's gone. I no longer live in Austin but my experience here were so amazing its made me miss their services and staff so much. The staff is super knowledgeable, the facilities are modern and clean, and the folks are super up front about all costs before doing any procedure so there are no surprises when you check out. Dr. C is the best with my pup!
