Wow. What a great vet clinic. We had to take our 18 year old dog in last week to have him put to sleep due to having multiple seizures and they were so kind and helpful. They made the process as easy and quick as possible. I will be bringing all of our animals from here on out.
I came in with my dog thinking he might have something stuck in his nose the very kind vet assured me that it was just allergies and gave my dog a check-up. He only charged me for an office visit.
The location was convenient for central Austin and the waiting area comfortable. Very friendly and professional staff. My dog loved he attention and all he treats. The treatment was thoughtful and reasonable. Will definitely go back.
My husband and I have been taking our two fur children to Dr. Dockrey at Austin Vet for the past 2 years. From start to finish, the interaction is amazing. Staff treats every pet as family and treatment methods paired with expectations are realistic. Compared to previous veterinarians, AV prices are a bit higher, BUT the service quality is well worth it. Highly recommend AV
Austin Vet Hospital has been great for our puppy! She's been a handful and I've been there way too many times for my liking but she seems to love it. The front office staff is friendly and welcoming, the vet techs are amazing, love Luna especially Korey, and all the vets are great with her. Dr. Dockrey, Dr. Baker, Dr. Krisko, and Dr. Faggioni go the extra mile and are very informative about my pets health and suggestions.
Came here based on an acquaintance review and all the yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. The staff has all been kind, professional and patient with my anxious dog.
We've gone here twice now with our Belgian Malinois who is a handful. Dr. Baker was awesome, she was not afraid of our dog like most people, and spent enough time with us explaining our dog's symptoms and also didn't make us feel rushed when we had our thousand questions either. Second time we went, we didn't get Dr. Baker, but we were fortunate enough to get Kory, technician, who is also amazing. We love Dr. Baker and everyone else here. Dr. Baker has been treating our cat who has lymphoma, and we are so, so grateful for her. We are used to vets who do a million tests and then shrug, essentially leaving you alone to make tough decisions. Dr. Baker is the opposite of that. She could have easily charged us for another full round of tests, but didn't. She has been compassionate about quality of life discussions. The staff is so friendly and the doctors friendly and professional. They are in a convenient location and I never feel that they are trying to sell me something we don't need. Their office is clean and modern. I changed from another local vet and I am glad I did!
