I have been taking my pets here for years and years & I truly can say that I trust the Vets here and trust their opinions. They are not out to get money & don't force unnecessary treatments etc... The staff are great, considerate & know me and my animals by name. Great place to take your pets!

I love coming here. The front staff are so friendly and just love my dog. Dr. Besch is the best, she says it like it is and doesn't give you the run around and has the experience to know what's up with your pet. I actually only ask to see her, though I've never seen Dr. Palvino... I think it's reasonably priced, not cheap but I can usually get an appointment day of and enjoy going here so it's worth it on those rare occasions when I need to go to the vet.

My roommate's cat was sick. He'd been sick for a few days and we didn't know where to go. Thanks to some other five-star reviews, she found this place and called. We got a same-day appointment and drove right over. I love the location. The staff was so caring and considerate. Like Dan G. said, they were genuinely excited to see the animals. Took our dog here for the first time this week (he was sick). Since I've only been here once, I'll wait for another star until our second visit :). The Austin Vet Hospital has a wonderful staff that seem to truly care for your pet. While I was there, about 5 other owners and pets came in, and every person on the staff seemed excited to see them and played with the dogs or cats if they seemed to be in a playful mood. I highly recommend this vet clinic! All three veterinarians are highly skilled and the clinic is professionally run. Since I have many animal companions, I've been using their services often.

Dr.Palvino is very professional and knowledgeable. One thing we especially appreciated is that he won't order any unnecessary exam or procedure. He gave us tips on how to keep our dog healthy. The staff is very friendly. They always welcome you warmly. Jessica was the tech today and she was very patient and friendly answering our questions. She also gave us very useful suggestions. Overall, I strongly recommend Austin Vet Hospital to everyone.

This is the best veterinary practice in Austin! Drs.Besch and Palvino are incredibly knowledgeable and caring. They are never rushed or over-crowded, and always listen to me and pay close attention to my cats. I trust them completely, and can't recommend them enough.

Sissy and I have had only positive experiences with Austin Veterinary Hospital thus far and expect that relationship to continue. We've been here many times now and I feel confident writing that the staff and Dr. Palvino are consistently professional and extremely knowledgeable. But it's because Dr. Palvino is also reasonable and honest that I will be buying the t-shirt and cheerleading this establishment. As noted in my previous review, treatment of heartworms isn't cheap, and I budgeted $800 as recommended by the staff... read more

Drs. Schaubert and Palvino have been very helpful in trying to figure out what is wrong with my cat Bootini. Both have called me after hours and clearly care about the health of my cat. I recommend them.
