We took our fur baby to our normal vet where they had no idea what the issue was she was having. I did a little research online for the best vets in Austin and came across Austin Vet Hospital. I was worried maybe our dog had something going on that no one had seen before and on top of that, she's a nervous German Shepherd who has the temperament of a Golden Retriever, so I didn't want her to be treated as a vicious doggo from the streets of south Bronx. Dr DeCiero was amazing! The staff is incredible, we have been coming here since 2019 and every experience here is positive and perfect. I wish we could give them 10 stars. So grateful for the wonderful care they give our fur babies
I had such a great experience here! Everyone was so nice and they didn't try to upsell me anything like my last vet! My dog has been a little under the weather and the vet here told me it was acute and would heal itself. My last vet would have run every test under the sun and would have charged me hundreds. So glad there are still honest vets out there who aren't just thinking about money. Thanks Austin Vet Hospital!

12.1.2021 Took our sweet Carmie in for her annual checkup. As always, I am so happy with the friendliness, attentiveness, and care the entire team provides to the pet, as well as the Human. Dr Somers explained things nicely & was very loving to Carmie I believe Yasmine & Leighann helped with Carmie, I'm sorry I forgot your names & masks don't help with identification. Nothing but great things to say about this place and their staff. The make our pup feel right at home very time
Every staff member that you encounter at Austin Vet Hospital is friendly, warm and provide a cool demeanor with the animals that they interact with. Dr. Cao answered my many questions patiently and provided a lot of insight and suggested supplements that could benefit my aging dog. My dog was a handful with her anxiety and the AVH staff handled her well.
I had the best experience at Austin Vet Hospital last week. My pup all of a sudden was having blood in his stool and I was freaked, I called in a panic and they kindly squeezed me in the same day ( I was a new patient and hadn't been here before). Both the vet tech and vet were kind and patient to both my pet & me, taking the time to let him get comfy. They calmed my nerves and talked me through all the possibilities and prescribed him some meds that solved the problem within 24 hours. I would recommend them to anyone lookin... read more
