Excellent place to bring your pet. They are really sensitive when explaining pet issues and suggesting treatments.
All of our interactionsa at AVH are pleasant, and the staff treat us like family - asking about issues, providing counsel, being empathetic, and making sure our pet's needs are met. Definitely one of the top vet care facilities in Austin.
This was my first experience there. I was referred by my mobile vet Matt Bendall. Everyone was so very nice and took such good care of my Chicken. They really were over the top with every encounter. It was a traumatic visit for me (Chicken was fine) but it helped so much that they were all so loving.
Fantastic animal care. Our kitten unfortunately came with a circus of issues...so over the past 3-4 months we've seen three different doctors (by random chance) at Austin Vet Hospital for 6 visits for lime & sulfur dips, a few visits for ringworm care, rodent ulcer care, and prescriptions for all of the above. Everyone was very nice and professional and caring about the health of my pet. The doctor took the time to listen to my concerns of my pet and the symptoms that have occurred in the past. She also explained what may be causing the problems in a manner that made sense to me.
Dr. Horsley was great! Really engaging and knowledgeable. We are glad we brought our new puppy to Austin Vet Hospital. The staff is fantastic as well... very helpful! We know our pup is in good hands.
