Too many red flags... I tried refinancing through this company. I began the paperwork after they said I was approved with a credit union. I signed the paperwork and gave some details about the vehicle. However, right before I was to mail power of attorney with my title, I received a letter from the credit union Autopay claimed approved me but the letter from the actual credit union stated I was not approved for the loan. Horrible Told me I was approved and then told me I wasn’t after telling me to skip my payment to the current lender.
Deceitful practices As others have stated, this company engaged in deceitful practices re: borrowers, and will perform a hard inquiry without authorization. If you've been affected, file a complaint with the CFPB.

Worst customer service ever!! Customer service is horrible. I have been trying to work with Alister at Autopay since July 12. He is hard to reach, does not return messages or says he will look into something and get back to you, but rarely does. He leaves you hanging for over a week at a time and then has excuses as to why he has not gotten back to you. If you call to talk to a supervisor, you are told they will call you back, but never do. I lost my rate due to thier delays. I would NEVER recommend this company.
Rude rude rude! Incredibly rude and pushy. Refused to work with me having a minor disability. Absolutely would not answer my questions. Felt like I was talking to a robot and not a real person because a real person would be understanding of someone with speaking disabilities. I hate that I allowed them to run my credit before I knew how rude and discriminatory they were.
Not a fan easy transition BUT they lied. They stated that they overpay so in case the payoff changes within 30 days it’s covered and that the difference would be sent back to you. turns out that’s not the case. it’s their fee plus a GAP policy. And, the guy who sold me the loan refi was quite nice. the guy i called today about this, not so much.
Beware of false advertising by Autopay.com Advertised a 2.2% savings in APR for me. Did the application, called immediately with an approval, asked me a few dozen questions and came back to say my interest rate was the same. What a waste of time, a waste of a credit inquiry, and very misleading. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED.
