Horrible Customer Service My fiance looked at refinancing his vehicle. They did a soft inquiry and instead we sold the vehicle. Not once did he talk to anyone there to move forward however they sent his information to open road lending who opened a loan in his name and did a hard inquiry. Nothing was EVER signed. After numerous phone calls Autopay even said themselves that it was an error because they have not signed credit application. However they still haven't removed the inquiries and it hit his credit hard.
Pointless exercise cost me points on my score Big promises of "we have you approved for your auto refinance!" give us your soc sec # and we will save you $50 a month on your car loan. I followed this up and gave them all my info as they kept me going then, once they had HARD HIT my credit (which is 750 by the way..or at least it WAS) I get a message saying "oops sorry, our rate came in higher than your current...we recommend you wait to refi)
Questions resulted in halt of communication. Thought I would try for this, the numbers credit karma showed I could get were what dragged me into this. Sounded good. Sounded great. So I applied with them, added a hard inquiry, only to be offered something far less appealing. I still considered it. But I had questions. The rep answered a few questions I had, including why the amount I would supposedly save was so high. Well, he was going off of an incorrect number. My loan wasn’t for 78 months. Of course that number made it se... read more
The most horrible middle man Autopay helped me redo a loan. They pushed it to meritrust that charged hundreds more than first loan then harassed me with 3 times the amount agreed and harassed about insurance card. Got fed up and had car crushed.
Loan, Oh the bait switch NOPE loan? AutoPay gave a "soft pull" offer, then sent a decline email...then several more emails asking me to complete the loan process with more great offers. It was tedious and confusing only to find out the answer was declined. That was ok, the continued hustle, ignorant and quite deceptive
Working with Alex Bloom has been a roller coaster. The refinance process began on the 30th of June. At the beginning, Alex was working with me quickly and provided information. However, that information was incorrect and I soon realized it was incorrect when I read the documents I needed to sign. I thought it’s not a big deal because it’s still a good deal for me. Not only was information not accurate but the process began to slow down. I was surprised because at the beginning everything was fast but now all of the sudden co... read more
Process is slow and not worth it!. Don't go here! The refinance process is extremely slow and their customer service is unresponsive. They approved me through Credit Karma, it took them weeks to send me the documents, then they did a hard inquiry with a bank. After that, they did not respond or update me on the progress of my loan for 30 days. Resulting in me having to restart from beginning of the process after two months. I called and they refused the ability to resume from where we left off.
Attempted refi going nowhere I was notified I could lower my payment with Autopay by Credit Karma. I suspected this, because my credit had gone up 80+ points since the time of my purchase. I applied online which was quick and easy, and thats where the good part ended. Its now been 3 weeks, I can never get a straight answer or info from my 'loan officer', I asked to speak with a supervisor several times and am told 'they will call you' but never do. This place is terribly run, its not easy like the online lenders I've used in... read more
WTF $449 Doc Fee?!. It's my fault, I should've read through the document thoroughly. I'm naive. BUT my Autopay rep asked me goals, talked through financial numbers, AND NEVER MENTIONED the $449 fee he'd charge me for refinancing a $5800 balance. I would've never done this if I knew I'd have to pay that much. I should've read it through, and yes it is my fault, but this fee was avoided by the representative from Autopay in all our discussions. That's scummy. I'm naive, but they're scummy. Oh, and when I did bring it up to my ... read more
