Not good at all first was told intake gasket then still couldn't clear all codes. Then after there tech adjusting valves we some how had a cylinder head bad. But since tech was asking Honda support on how to adjust I think the tech lack of experience and knowledge was what made us have a bad head. Pilot only had 51,000 miles and they said bad cylinder head. So rather Honda engines are garbage or Berlin City Techs are not good at what they do. Either way would never buy a Honda again or have my service done at Berlin City.
Getting an appointment was difficult. I do not like your chatbot took way too long to get me to the actual human and scheduling an appointment. The actual appointment was smooth
Everything went really well except for the fact that both of us requested that they replace a missing valve stem cap on one of our tires. The Rep that took care of us assured us that they would take care of it. When we received our car back and when we looked at our receipt (that we had to request) our request was not written down, hence not taken care of. Not too happy about this - when someone states they will take care of something, but does not deliver :(
Never updated the navigation system as requested, nor discussed. Simply ignored. Not great business practice.
Berlin City Honda South Portland replaced my transmission fuel incorrectly so that it was very difficult to drive my car home. I spoke on the phone to Jessica from Berlin Honda South Portland, who without seeing the vehicle denied that they did anything wrong and blamed it on spark plugs. I consulted with a mechanic who I went to for over 20 years and trust completely. They sold me a car knowing there was extensive rust in the hopes that it wouldn't become a problem until my warranty was up and still haven't fixed everything after 4 visits
The waiting room was nice and clean. I was scheduled for 10:30 am appt. and no one notified me while I sat in the service area that were delays due to whatever. I could have dropped the car off and come back for it later. To wait with no communication for any of the technicians or head of the service dept. was unacceptable. This was a new car and the first time I had used this service center. If this is an example of how they run a business, it may be my last visit.
A lot of unnecessary work in order to pass inspection. The work itself is great, but it'll definitely be the last time I bring the vehicle here for an inspection sticker.
Car was said to be "clean" at sale. But a quick trip to local reputable auto body stated that the rear bumper had been hit at some point and repainted. Dealer did not disclose, and repaired as best as can, but definitely not a clean vehicle. This is my fifth car purchased from Berlin City in Portland, ME. I will never return.
