Great experience! Very professional, Knowledgeable and courteous staff. Every single person I dealt with had the same level of courteousness, and professionalism. This is very rare to find in any company. They helped me throughout the process. My situation was very unique and complicated. They did everything they could to get my refinance to closing! Better.com has a very streamlined process, and I think they do this whole thing remotely as good as or better than most. Just be on your toes - there are often requirements communicated that require a quick/detailed response, and you often have to respond quickly, so give the whole process as much attention as you can muster. Overall, a good experience.

After refinancing my primary residence with Better.com, my experience was so positive that I chose to refinance my investment property. The rates were great, but what I really loved was how their website application guided me through the entire process and how responsive the processing expert was. Spoiler alert: Better.com is just the worst. Maybe like you, I thought I'd give Better a try based on their excellent rating with NerdWallet and the fact that I'm a tech founder and thought the process would be easier in this time of COVID to do online. Big mistake. What a waste of a month and a half. Just don't do it. Save yourself the hassle and stress. Seriously. Run. I have an 800+ credit rating, the property I'm looking to refi has a 50% loan to value ratio. I have enough cash in the bank to almost pay the loan outright... read more

Very positive experience and quick closing time! I would highly recommend Better mortgage to anyone wanting a truly great experience. My local bank that currently held my mortgage could not even lock in my rate until after appraisal was done. Better mortgage did not even require an appraisal and locked in my rate three days after I first contacted them. This is the future of mortgage banking and Better is the way to go!

The website was very easy to navigate, and our team kept in constant communication. They were very upfront with the costs, but gave us so many credits that we ended up paying nothing. We had one snag in the process (this may have been unique to our case), and our team was quick to resolve the issue and gave us additional credits/discounts. We used Better for a refinance, and plan on using them in the future to purchase a home.
