Let’s be honest, the mortgage and refi process is less than pleasant. I was pleasantly surprised at how much of the pain of the process was alleviated by better. They have better rates (after the fluff of advertisement gives way to real rates and fees), better team members, a better website, etc. Their transparency to me was the deal maker and why I chose better after rate shopping and taking 6 painful hard credit checks. I'm a seasoned pro at refinancing with random online lenders. I was blown away at how fast and easy Better.com was from the start of the process to the finish. We closed in 20 days, and uploading/signing all the paperwork was an absolute breeze. Highly recommend them if fast and easy is important to you. Terrible bate and switch, claimed to be a no cost mortgate on bankrate site then when they pulled my credit they asked for $4000+ closing cost - stay away unless you want your chance of refinance vanish before your eyes due to their hard pull.

I found them via ****** *****, I have worked hard to improve my credit scores and pay off revolving debt. I was checking my credit and was happy too see scores (********** and *******) close to 800. With current low mortgages I 've been considering refinancing our home loan and heloc.
