Better.com promised me an amazing rate so I turned other lenders away. For over a month I have been providing all kind of information from credit to payroll to even pictures of my place. When I said that I was not comfortable paying $500 for the appraisal, the loan officer told that he had authorization to cover it, yet they still charged my credit card. We were very happy with the online app to perform the entire process ! The staff was constantly checking in to see if we had any questions , concerns and returned phone calls right away/! I would recommend for buying your first home !

I don't trust strangers on the internet very much but Better.com was amazingly transparent and provided great communication to keep me in the loop. The tasks list was straight forward and easy. I closed quicker than I imagined we could (within 30 days). I refinanced my home which allowed me to keep my same payments, get cash out, lower my interest rate, drop a couple years off my original loan, pay off high interest loans, and get rid of PMI payments. I can't say enough about how good my experience was.
