We had a very positive experience across the board completing a refinance with better.com. Rates and closing costs were quite competitive (I compared with five other lenders). The website was easy to navigate. Staff were professional and answered questions in a timely fashion. I highly recommend.

I have refinanced my properties a few times in the past but the services I received from Better.com were outstanding. They provided a competitive rate for refinancing my property and were able to beat a better offer from a different service provider. The team I worked from beginning to end was awesome, proactive and just great. I applied through better.com as a first time homebuyer and received a decent pre-approval. Went out and found a home, uploaded my purchase agreement and sat on the phone for 30 minutes while the mortgage rep went through my details. Everything was great, everything lined up and then all of a sudden he told me he had to decline my loan but couldn't explain why. Your so-called "Better Price Guarantee" is FAKE. I found a better offer and closed elsewhere. You wouldn't keep your words and denied my payment based on some fine print that you wouldn't even discourse. I would like to know exactly how many times you have met your obligation of paying a customer $1000 if you couldn't meet the competitor's offer by at least $1000.

Only respond when they need you to do something. Still waiting a week after closing on my refi for the payoff to the mortgage holder as well as they additional funds. Three scheduled phone calls in a row not kept and no emails returned.
