I can not adequately explain how impressed I was the attention-to-detail, compassion, and aggressive approach to patient care. It models my own practice with humanoid life forms. I have been to Burnham Park Animal Hospital twice now with my new girl Zoey. I am EXTREMELY happy with the service and kindness we have been given and shown. Everyone there seems to be very helpful and knowledgeable and I highly recommend them!!
Wow - I wish all the pre-2009 complaints about the snarky receptionist could just disappear. I am positive that snarky one is no longer there. BPAH has excellent staff at the desk. They know me and my goldens by name, and treat us wonderfully. A quick phone call is all it takes to get individualized attention PRONTO!. Used to take my dog here when he was a puppy and I lived around the corner. Since then, I moved to Lincoln Park and took my dog to a local (and outrageously priced) vet. I received a suspicious "diagnosis" last year and had the same issue last night.I didn't want to take my pet in again for the "your dog has a butt licking fetish, not allergies talk" in Lincoln Park. We took our cat to this animal hospital because she seemed to have a respiratory infection. Since it didn't seem life-threatening we didn't insist on an emergency appointment. However, the clinic has very convenient open hours and we were able to bring our cat in the same day! Our doctor was right on time for the appointment so we didn't have to wait. I have been going to this vet almost since they opened. I live near O'Hare so it's a pretty good trip for me, but I wouldn't go anywhere else. All my dogs have received excellent care. I also like the fact that you can see the same vet each time you come, instead of a different vet each time. I'm also involved in rescue and Dr. Bruderle (Dr. B) has taken wonderful care of all my past and present fosters. I pay a little more but it's worth it to me for the above reasons. I know what I am getting and very pleased.
Thanks for being the best Vet in the area. We made a same day (virtually same hour) appointment yesterday for our sick dog. You guys were great! We got right in, received medications, and you only charged us for the scripts! Thanks for taking care of our sick puppy....
I had my first visit with them today, I was so relieved and happy they were as kind and accommodating as the reviews said they were. There was a first time patient coupon on their website for a free exam, I called and told them my printer is broken and if there was anyway they would still honor the coupon even if I did not have it with me, the friendly voice on the phone said no problem they would print it out for me :) When I got there, and got through the door, it did not smell like a vet or a pet shop: like wet smelly an... read more
