BPAH is a dream! I've been taking my kitties there since getting Biscuit in Jan 15. The front desk staff, vet techs, and vets are all so pleasant and kind. Biscuit is pretty low maintenance except for junky teeth - he gets an annual teeth cleaning under anesthesia, which can be a little stressful but the team is great. Jam is my money pit kitty. I love this place! I came for the good reviews about a year ago, and they fixed up my rescue dog so good. I moved way to the North Side this year, and started to go to another vet, but when they were full for surgery I came back to Burnham. They did such a good job and diagnosed things my other vet didn't that I may come back to them. Tis is the only place I will trust my babies to. I have a favorite vet, of course, but the nice thing about Burnham Park is that they are all excellent. That has never been true anyplace else I have been.
Great place. Staff show care and concern and are very detailed in what steps they will take with your pet. Place is very clean. They will work with you during any time you have a concern to get you in for appointment.
This my 2nd time brought my dog to Burnham Park Animal Hospital (BPAH) for treatment. This time we saw Dr. Nick Miller who was wonderful as Dr. Tara Clack Bell, whom we saw last time. As usual the staff weighted my dog and took samples from both ears of my dog. Dr. Miller came in soon. He examined her for ear itch problem and listened her lunge and heart with stethoscope. We moved to the area in the past year and chose Burnham Animal Hospital for our beagle's care due to the convenience of the location. I have been extremely happy with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the office, the ease of getting an appointment and most important the quality of care provided by the doctors. The first doc we saw was Dr. Olson. She was so kind and compassionate and provided great care as our dog had to have surgery that day. Burnham Park Animal Hospital saved my cat! My cat suddenly had seizure on Sunday. My regular vet doctor was closed. I was not sure where to find an animal hospital that was open. Luckily that this place was open on Sunday. The doctor and technician jumped into action to save my cat. My cat situation got stabilized. They told me to rush my cat to MedVet Emergency Room. I did. Now my cat returned home from 4 days of hospital at MedVet and quite recovered. I am so grateful.
The staff, service and care here is outstanding. I have been with them through two dogs over the span of ten plus years. Although my current 110lb- 3yr old Rottweiler dislikes the fact that he's there, they make the experience as calm and enjoyable as possible for both of us. I highly recommend you consider them for your best friends health and wellness.
I'm grateful for BPAH. I ended up there in an emergency when I first moved to Chicago and didn't know east from west and this was the only place open. They took me in, were incredibly attentive and great followup. Since then, I've used them as my primary vet. I'm grateful for their responsiveness. I've seen most of the docs; they're all patient, thorough and caring. I have since noticed vets more convenient to my home, but BPAH is worth the drive. Thanks, BPAH.
