I can't say enough good things about this place. The vets are extremely helpful and trustworthy, it's clean and the staff are excellent. We have started to take our puppy Keano in for check ups etc and they treat him so well. We feel 100% comfortable with everything they have to offer. Pricing it extremely fair and the hours are super helpful. For sure check them out, you won't regret it
I had a rough move to Chicago and it was announced with the new job that I had to leave the state just a few days after getting there. I knew no one, and have a diabetic cat that needed more than just someone to feed her while I was gone. I went from vet to vet, and no one would board my cats since 1) one didn't have a medical need for it and 2) they weren't prior patients. I stumbled upon BPAH as I had about given up hope. Dr. Miller and the staff at Burnham Park Animal Hospital (BPAH) are fabulous! I had stopped going here when my old vet left BPAH years ago...it seemed like the level of care had dropped off. But now that Dr. Miller is here, things have really picked up again! Dr. Miller and staff really show an interest in your pets and their health, and take time to provide the best of care and follow-up. And I love their weekend hours! May 28, 2015 In late April of 2015, I noticed blood in my little 2 1/2 year old female dog's urine. I immediately called BPAH, and Dr. Clack saw me the same day. X-rays showed my little Asia had developed bladder stones. Dr. Clack was extremely thorough in explaining the available options. She patiently answered all (and I mean all) my questions. Burnham Park Animal Hospital is wonderful and I cannot say enough great things about the doctors and staff there. I have been taking my dog, Ella there since I got her at 7 weeks old. She is now turning 8 and continue to take her even though we have moved out of the South Loop area. They take such amazing care of her when she goes in for her check-ups and for boarding. I'm so thankful for BPAH and all the people who work there. My pug, Olive, just moved in with me 2 weeks ago, and we didn't have a vet yet. So when I came home from work yesterday and saw that Olive's right eye was red, oozy, and having difficulty opening, I didn't really know where to go. A quick Google Maps search later, I was in a cab with Olive--by some minor miracle i was able to flag one that would take a dog--and we were on our way to BPAH. Burnham Park was always responsive and available for all our needs and worries. I recommend them. If we hadn't moved from South Loop, we would continue to go to them for our dog's needs. When we switched vets, they sent over the files to our new vet less than 30 minutes after we requested them to. I was so impressed by the level of service I received from Meaghan and the entire team at BPAH to prepare all the necessary paperwork to bring my dog to the UK. I had been so stressed and overwhelmed by the process when I first started researching it, and then frustrated when my previous vet said they didn't do international health certificates.
