BPAH saved my cat, Pookzy's life! The staff is very friendly, professional and always happy to see Pookzy and Clover whenever they need to get boarded or vaccinated there. It seems like my cats are very happy when they go and come back. They must get A LOT of attention from the staff. Clover is very shy, but she came back home very confident (I could tell by the tone of her meow) and she was jumping over Pookzy (usually Pookzy is chasing and jumping over her). I highly recommend them!
Burnham Park has been a pretty great choice for us, especially on weekends and especially if we need someone to take a look at our pup pretty quickly but not at an emergency rate. Their staff are really friendly and helpful, from the front desk people to the techs to the vets. One time we did get stuck waiting a while longer than expected to be seen but they cleared up the issue quickly and politely. We haven't tried their boarding services yet but I saw people both drop off their dogs and pick up their dogs from boarding w... read more
Burnham is in my neighborhood and after I was completely annoyed with my inability to get my 13yo cocker in to see her normal vet, I figured I would give them a try. I completed the new client log on-line in the morning before they opened and received a response within two hours saying I could come in that afternoon for an appt! The customer service at the front desk was kind. Dr. B's bedside manner is comical while clear and he just makes everything pretty understandable. I plan to return. I did street parking with the mete... read more
Burham Park Animal Hospital, in the South Loop, seems to "get it" when you have a pet emergency, they are able to accommodate you. Dr. Olson seems like a knowledgeable and caring doc. Thanks!
Our Greyhound was patient number 6 at Burnham Park Animal Hospital in the 1990's. 25 years and 8 dogs later they are still our vet. when we have had our pets euthanized we always received condolence cards and I've seen tears from staff when we lost one. We have had three with osteoscarcoma and hemangiosarcoma which resulted in amputation. these were serious, emotional and complicated situations and the vets and staff were always there with us. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
My dog had a bacterial infection on his paw today. The team was able to get him in today and fixed him up (minus the cone of shame ;) ). They got our records from our old out of state vet and everything went smoothly. Very clean, professional and not overpriced at all.
I took my foster pitbull from Fetching Tails in to get stitches removed today and all the staff was beyond wonderful. You can tell they really do care about animals there, and the vet we had even volunteers at animal control which I thought was definitely above and beyond. They were fast, genuine, caring, and generous.
I just took my pup in yesterday. I had called around trying to get an appointment at a few different vet offices in the area and Burnham Park accommodated us. The front office staff were all pleasant & professional. We saw Dr. Clark she was really nice and thorough. She gave me directions on how to treat my guy and wrote out detailed instructions. Overall it really was a quick and effective visit. The office was roomy and my pup was as comfortable as could be expected in a vets office. Everyone was really polite and seemed l... read more
In 2015, I took my cat to a vet for treatment for vomiting and diarrhea and returned home with a bruised (with a facial cut)and traumatized cat. I thought I would never go to a vet again and go thru such an experience. Today, I took my cat to Dr. Linnea Olson of Burnham Park Animal Hospital with the same issues. I found Dr. Olson to be a very professional and competent vet. As soon as I returned home, my cat was so happy, she started running and playing around w/o showing any signs of distress!
