I am/was a resident of this facility There is a reason any respecting nurse calls this place "Care None". I was discharged from Morristown Hospital to come here to increase my mobility and strength after an illness. I am an educated woman with complete mental facilities. The call button in my room didn't work and didn't for over a week. When i needed help in the bathroom the first night, I was in severe pain and the attendant/nurse yelled at me to be quiet. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident The room was fine. He had a window and could see outside which was nice for him. The bedding wasn't changed very often, it was often a mess and I straightened it up whenever I was there. His care staff did not often respond very quickly and sometimes not at all. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I am a relative of a past Care One Rehabilitation resident and a friend of a present Care One resident. I visited Care One nearly every day for the 30 days my relative was there because of having to oversee her care. My relative experienced having her medication wrongly administered. At least twice, a nurse administered double the dose of medication to my relative and on other occasions, her medication was skipped. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident This place has turned out to be the biggest nightmare ever. My mother in law passed we were never given an option of having an autopsy done so we do not even know the cause of death. Even worse than this they have lost, misplaced, or disposed of her belongings because they did not see or care of the value. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I typically don't write reviews, but this has been the worst experience our family has had with a member in any facility. Their rehab nursing staff, especially on the weekend, is horrific. My mom wasn't cleaned for hourse, never recieved responses to her call button. So when we went, we tested it. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Run don't walk is very well said. This place is abysmal from the food to the care. I don't care that you are short staffed which I heard numerous times. Please do not take in any new patients as I heard you were short staffed within the first hour of arrival. The staff never returns calls cannot be be bothered with the patient or the family. The rooms and facility are dated and dirty. Not 1 meal in 2 weeks was what was ordered. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Rooms are freezing cold. Dish tv spotty. Sent my mother home with a respiratory infection and said she’s fine. She ended up in the hospital. Staff doesn’t care. She laid in bed in dirty clothes and sheets. Physical therapist walked her once a day about 50 feet and left her in bed fir the rest of the time. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. I seriously don't understand how this place remains open. Both the Administrator and Social Worker are completely incompetent. My mother has dementia and was dumped in a room, that NO ONE should be put in, just because she had tested positive for Covid at the hospital. By the fifth day there I had seen enough! I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I wouldn't send my worse enemy to this place. No one answers the phone. When they do, and if no one answers they just keep passing you through to that number 5 or 6 times without saying anything to you. No one ever answers the phone at the nurses station or any of the Supervisor's phones. Even the Administrator doesn't answer his phone and when you leave a message takes multiple hours to call you back. This location is a horrible place to deal with. No one cares there. Eve... read more
