I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Although this facility is beautiful, that is the only thing positive about it. The staff is unhelpful, unfriendly and uncaring. When I asked the receptionist where my relative’s room was, she pointed in the direction of rooms and said “right up there.” The nurse that was assigned to my relative was extremely rude. Lack of staff, 10 patients to one nurse! Totally understaffed. Horrible, Care One NOT!
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Though beautiful and with some kind staff, Hanover is grossly understaffed. Some apathetic employees choose to “change diaper” rather than bring patient to toilet. My brother fell while there. He is conversant and no man should have to pee on himself. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Run don’t walk . This place should be shut down by the state. Had my mom there for subacute rehab. She has dementia & 3 strokes. She was left in wheelchair for hours. They do not care about your lab work ups. I had them call the ambulance after I noticed her labs were off. She spent 14 days in hospital dehydrated- low sodium - very low glucose level.
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Go anywhere but here. The place is dirty, bugs on floors, food is deplorable and staff do not care one iota.
I visited this facility The service at this facility leaves a lot to be desired. The staff does not attend to the needs of the patient in a timely manner. For the first twenty-four hours of my wife's stay, we found that the staff is not as attentive to the patients' needs as they ought to be. One of the problems is that the facility is understaffed and this may be the reason why the service is not efficient.
I visited this facility Upon first entry I was happy and impressed but as my mother stayed there, I realized issues. First off most of the staff is incredibly unfriendly. We had an issue with a nurse that left my mom dirty around a surgical site and she ended up getting a horrible infection. The nurse was arrogant about it, and unapologetic. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident No medications on time. No help to be found. Rooms filthy. Rude and clueless staff. Gross tasting food. Just leave family in bed all day.
I visited this facility Hello, I am writing to express my concerns and disappointment with your establishment. I am a family member of a patient placed at your facility, who is horrified by the actions and behavior of “director of rehab.” I was witness to your DOR cutting down your staff in front of patients, swearing, and overall bring a lack of professionalism and compassion to your rehab. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident No real nursing care beyond med needs and vitals. Loved one fell twice and admitted to the hospital as a result, ultimately sent home with an awful untreated ulcer and they didn't tell us about it.
