Get directionsI am a friend or relative of a current/past resident How do I start, if you prefer your loved one to sit in there wheelchair all day if a fall risk and not be able to sleep for a nap in there bed this place is for you. My Dad was here for rehab. Rehab was great but not his wing care not so much. Someone from our family went there daily; we would find his meds in the bed that he spit out. He fell; they claimed they called me and the doctor, asked to verify the phone number they called which was correct but no voice mail or mi... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Left a relative with memory issues alone too often. Was there to rehab after the flu and wound up with a broken hip!
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident This facility never answers any phone calls and when they do most times they are very rude. I would call four & five times before I would give up. My husbands care was terrible .., they never helped him brush his teeth so they never got brushed. They lost 3 pair of his pants and sent his electronic razor home without the head. When I tried to get an outside visit they never sent me the link to get it. A nurse actually told him when he asked her to help him cut his steak be... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mom was in CareOne at New Milford. She was there because she needed rehab, but she actually got worse and had to go back to the hospital. They had nurses and aides. It was poor. My mom didn't really receive physical therapy as much as she was supposed to. We were in contact with her while she was there, but she was not getting physical therapy every day. I got the impression that she wasn't getting that individual care that she needed. I feel like they were overwhelmed ... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident If I could only give this place negative stars I would. They took my Mom on 3/21/20 from Holy Name after stating "they had room" (despite the Covid-19 outbreak going on in Teaneck). They put my mom on the 3rd floor and not even a week later I got a call saying she was being moved to another floor because there were "positive Covid patients" on floor 3. So they admitted my Mom to a floor that already had symptomatic patients (because we all know you dont just wake up one da... read more
I visited this facility This place is called care none for a reason.my father was in this filthy nasty place for wound care which most of the time the care that he received .was the worst that i have seen most of the workers there were horrible to say the least doctors included especially the so called infectious disease doctors. There were maybe two people in the whole building that cared one of those people included the receptionist she was great and one nurse .and that is sad .i feel so sorry for the people that have to l... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I implore everyone to stay away from this rehab facility. Upon discharge my relative had lost more than 25% of their body weight in less than 30 days. In fact they never bothered to check my relative's weight at all during those 30 days. In addition, they misrepresented my relative's abilities saying the resident could move from bed to chair when in fact they could not even support their own weight and stand upon discharge. No instructions were reviewed for home care and n... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Though Care One at Wayne was an adequate facility for my grandfather’s recovery, their handling of the Covid-19 crisis was absolutely unacceptable. Two weeks into my grandfather’s stay, they began barring visitors from entering the facility, which they did act early on, but on FaceTime calls with my grandfather it was obvious that social distancing practices were NOT taking place within the facility. The physical therapists who assisted in the FaceTime calls were within in... read more
