2023: I still only take my dogs to Caring Hands. I've visited multiple of their locations and they are all great. Van Dorn is where I started and where I always go as a first option. The staff were great through the trying time of COVID-19 and always show empathy towards the pets and people who come through their doors. I've been in the area for about two years now and never moved my pups vet. However, after he got sick I needed a vet that had good reviews and close to home. It was very hard to book a last minute appointment, but this Caring Hands location had one cancellation that I was able to book. Due to my pup being sick, upon arrival I called to check-in. Outstanding care for my senior rescue Trixie and outstanding customer service for me. Being in the veterinary field these days is very tough. There are not enough staff and many, many animals in need of care. Keeping pet parents happy is no easy task. Caring hands is just that. They are a bit pricey but all vets in this area are. The doctors love the animals. They do check them thoroughly. They are concerned and they listen to you. Recommended to me by my trainer when I moved and left Woodbridge area and previous great vet. They even send follow up emails to check on patient puppy.

I would give this place 20 stars if I could! All the staff was so kind to both me and my dog. They were so helpful with my budget planning and making sure there were no surprises. Will definitely be staying with Caring Hands

My dogs are part of my family and the Doctors at Caring Hands Animal Hospital ( Alexandria location) care for them for many years, yes many my oldest dog Frida will be 21 yrs old next month! I have 100% confidence on their treatment and care provided to my dogs. I highly recommend Caring Hands to any one who love and want the best for their pets. You and your fur babies will be treated with dignity and respect and not just as another patient or $ sign. Courteous and competent staff. Dr. Neumann is great!

I have always been treated so well here, but they treat my dog juicy even better. I have an English bulldog who had lots of ear infection and his vet was able to narrow it down and sort out that he had a chicken allergy. I changed his diet and we no longer had ear infections. Every time something comes up they do their very best to find us an appointment, or they provide multiple resources as well. My pup has seen multiple vets at this location and everyone has been amazing, the vet techs and the receptionist are amazing.
