Took my recently adopted shelter dog there because he was sick. The doctors and staff are excellent! Very gentle and caring. They have accommodated me when I've had urgency with him and have made themselves available anytime I've needed them. I like love Dr. Dean, but everyone I've dealt with there has been wonderful.

I can't say enough good things about the staff here! They truly treat your furry friend as if it was their own. We moved from Chicago and my husband took my rescue pom there (I was scared to death to find a new vet since she is basically my child) and they gave him a tour of their facility and even had a welcome sign for new patients! I have never been so impressed with a vet office and the cleanliness of the patient areas!

I simply do not have enough good things to say about the Caring Hands Animal Hospital in Alexandria. I'm so blown away by the level of care Dr. Neumann has provided for my furbaby, that I made myself a Yelp account just to post this review! A couple of months ago, a suspicious looking lump appeared on my beloved Chocolate Lab's rib area, so we immediately took her to her normal vet (not Caring Hands). We bring our cat Rumbles, to Dr. Neumann and he is very professional, knowledgeable, respectful and compassionate. (as is his staff) We trust his judgement and appreciate the fact he gives all alternatives for our cat's care. We know our Rumbles is in great hands as the dr. and his staff are very kind and gentle with our boy. The office is easy to locate and has ample parking. Caring Hands in Alex, Va - Took my Mom's cat Panda to Caring Hands for the first time. Their staff and vet tech were very nice and treated Panda with care. They even had a sign that welcomed him. Would recommend him to my family and friends.

We've been taking our dog Ricky here for over two years now, and we couldn't recommend Caring Hands highly enough. When we first adopted Ricky, we took him here to get his physical. The vet and vet techs were really great at handling our little guy, who can at times be nervous with strangers. Part of the standard check up is the fecal test, and we later learned that like many shelter dogs, Ricky was infected with Giardia. I cannot speak more highly of this practice! The front staff and vet techs are all wonderful, knowledgable and kind. Jenn Heatherly has been providing top notch care for my pets for several years and when I had to put my sweet old kitty to sleep, she somehow managed to put me at ease. Now she cares for my two greyhounds who absolutely love visiting the office :) I can always get my pets in for visits quickly and they have very flexible hours! You will not be disappointed!

After much research into vets and animal hospitals in the area, I chose Caring Hands for their reputation, outstanding and devoted staff, and knowledgeable vets. We first went to the Caring Hands Animal Hospital in Merrifield but have since transferred to the Alexandria location due to the proximity to our home. This review is long overdue. The staff at Caring Hands has always done such a fantastic job caring for my dog, whether he's just having a check-up or he's sick. It's not easy to handle a sick and nervous animal, yet they always manage to care for my dog as if he were their own.
