I had a good experience with Janet today. Unfortunately, service fell flat when she went on lunch. Janet gave us so much great information and helped us choose the right boots for our feet. She talked just the right amount to be friendly and helpful. The selection at this location is slightly more limited than others in town. I kinda wish I had checked out the RR location. Prices were lower than I thought they would be. Definitely come here rather than going to some place on South Congress!
Business response:
Hello, Tamie. Glad to have you as a customer! Thanks for trusting Cavender’s to outfit your Western lifestyle.
Oh WOW! What an amazing western store. So happy I stopped here first. I had a list of places I was going to shop at today for the perfect outfit, and man, this place did not disappoint. First I walked around the store to see and get a feel for everything. Then I walked back around and started grabbing clothes in my size. I also grabbed a pair of boots too. And I know I got a great price as I had already done some research on boots and prices. Really hard to find boots that I liked for under $250.00 Today I found boots way un... read more
The place was very clean and staff was really friendly. Amazing customer service. Manny was the staff member that helped my family out. He knew his hat shapes really well and seemed really passionate about his job. Will be coming back to this location again.
A GOOD HAT IS AN INVESTMENT When you lay out hard earned cash for a hat you'll want to give it some personal flare. You'll want it shaped to showcase your personality by an experienced MASTER MILLINER or HATTER. INTRODUCING: TRAVIS the "Hatter." He grew up in his family's western hat business near College Station. Travis is an exceptional and experienced hatter and I highly recommend him to help you pick out and shape your next hat. If he wasn't a craftsman I wouldn't give him my stamp of approval and here's why I do. Q... read more
Needed to purchase a boot bag for my husband very last minute. He was leaving for the airport in an hour, and of course did not have the boot bag yet. They were so helpful in guiding me to the selection of boot bags and checking me out quickly. I found exactly what he needed for a very reasonable price! Everybody there seems so genuinely, helpful, someone uncommon these days - highly recommend!
I went to Round Rock, Cavender's Boot City to buy a hat that was in my size. I was greeted by Holden. He was respectful and took his time to shape the hat He helped me with. He made sure I was happy with it. He knew I was wearing this for passing of a loved one. Unfortunately, the checkout girl was checking for a sensor. Not meaning to break the brim inner liner that made the hat a little uncomfortable to wear. Hey accidents happen. I lost the receipt. I called and spoke to Luke. He understood quite well what I was talking... read more
Cavender's specializes in boots and western wear. Not exactly my style. I prefer Allen Edmonds wingtips to Tony Llama boots. So why do I love Calenderers? First, phenomenal selection of shoe polishing products and excellent leather care products (great for my car's leather seats). Second, very nice staff. Also, if you're looking for a unique, Texas-themed t-shirt or other gift item, check out Cavenders.
Looking for anything Western fashion? They have it- boots, hats, belts, dresses, jeans, mens button shirts, home accessories, even gift items all in one spot. Slightly smaller than the Cavender's south of town, this one makes up in customer service. The clothes are reasonable priced and the hats ($20-150 and up) and boots ($50 -1000). It is well stocked and has lots of parking. I have found myself bringing out of town friends or picking up a Texas themed gift.
Wow, we spent hours here & loved every minute! It was like Disneyland, we didn't know where to start shopping. But we did. We brought our previously purchased felt hats that needed some TLC. The men there happily took care of them & sent us back in the retail wonderland. My husband & son started in the boot section & were immediately greeted by Rob. He had great patience with their boot preferences. Then it was off to find jeans. Wow, the selection was almost endless. The dressing rooms were a bit small, in my opinion, but ... read more
