I we t in there to help my teenage daughter by her first pair of boots and get my husband a new pair . The staff was incredible. Larry I can't say enough how awesome and patient he was with her . He spent time putting an outfit together and finding boots cool enough for her. I couldn't believe how awesome he was. For slim men with a taste for ecclectic clothing, Cavender's is worth consideration. Many shirts (particularly Wrangler but others also) are cut with a slim fit and have fantastic details like diamond shaped buttons, "changent" (color-changing) material, embroidery, etc. Helpful service, and not a bad place to buy boots, either.
After two different trips to the competitor (Sheplers), I have found this store as my go to place. I walked in and was immediately greeted. I was looking for a new hat and the young man was helpful and accomodating. The only con, it seemed that the female staff was unfriendly or bothered when asked to work the register by the manager. But a big shout out to the manager who honored a mislabeled discount sign for my hat even though I didn't ask.
My hubby is a little bit country. I am a little bit rock-n-roll. So, when it came time to buy him some new boots for his birthday, I was completely flummoxed. (Btw, when I say country, I mean born and reared in. Not big buckle, pearl buttons, ten-gallon wearing. Not that there's anything wrong with that.) I've lived in Texas for 14 years now. Ever since I was able to choose my state of residency. Does that make me a Texan?... I don't know, but after all these years of being around boot wearin', pick-up drivin', proud as hell Texans, it's altered my Adidas and Puma preference DNA.. Wowza, what a place! Getting welcomed by super sexy blond men in cowboy hats, saying "Howdy Ma'am, how ya doing today?" Always starts my mornings off well. Since I had just taken a picture in my friends cowboy hat and decided that maybe I was a secret cowgirl in disguise and desperately needed a hat of my own, off I went to Cavenders to try one on for size. Not good customer service at all.. came in not sure what boots to buy and not one person asked if i needed help or was even in the general area. Decided against giving them my money because of this

Customer Service could be worked on. It was my first time going to the store & needed help with locating so items. White Lady proceeds to just look over me & help the white family on the next isle lol
Nobody offered to help. Everybody has an attitude and nobody wanted to help lol asked to get my hat cleaned before I purchased it and legit said they didn't want to. Get another job if you don't like your job.
