Cavender's specializes in boots and western wear. Not exactly my style. I prefer Allen Edmonds wingtips to Tony Llama boots. So why do I love Calenderers? First, phenomenal selection of shoe polishing products and excellent leather care products (great for my car's leather seats). Second, very nice staff. Also, if you're looking for a unique, Texas-themed t-shirt or other gift item, check out Cavenders.

Looking for anything Western fashion? They have it- boots, hats, belts, dresses, jeans, mens button shirts, home accessories, even gift items all in one spot. Slightly smaller than the Cavender's south of town, this one makes up in customer service. The clothes are reasonable priced and the hats ($20-150 and up) and boots ($50 -1000). It is well stocked and has lots of parking. I have found myself bringing out of town friends or picking up a Texas themed gift.

Wow, we spent hours here & loved every minute! It was like Disneyland, we didn't know where to start shopping. But we did. We brought our previously purchased felt hats that needed some TLC. The men there happily took care of them & sent us back in the retail wonderland. My husband & son started in the boot section & were immediately greeted by Rob. On vacation from Wisconsin. On a spoof actually just looking to stop at a bathroom. ( who knew so many places do not allow customers to use their bathrooms) wesaw Cavender's. Ethan and Mario were fantastic. They were so nice and gave us really good advice on hats. I also loved the selection of the store. Mario greeted every customer. I will be back! Thank you Ethan for the best hat sizing, too!

First time buying boots and hats at a Cavender's in TX. Definitely more of a rhinestone cowboy apparel joint. Glad they carry some Ariat and Charlie Horse items. 3 of 5 stars because the women selections for hats and hatbands was only 1 or 2 options (with only smalls in stock) and the customer service was awful. They also had very limited options for boots over size 8.
