Con: I made an appointment online and the person never saved it. That really pissed me off. Pro: I had a cleaner named Phil, he was awesome. Very nice dude and did a decent job. Con: I would have liked to been told to vacuum before he showed up, I just figured "carpet cleaning" would include that but I was wrong so I felt like I wasted their time. Over all, you pay for what you get. I feel like I got what I expected for the most part.

We have used Coit over the years to clean our carpets and drapery, and have been satisfied; however, recently we hired Coit to clean and seal the grout on our kitchen floor and the floor of one of our bathrooms. The young man who came to do the work on January 16, 2018, chipped one of the kitchen tiles and left the bathroom tile and grout dirty in the toe space under the bathroom cabinet overhang. Wow this company has been in business for 65+ years and no reviews? I will be the first then. I had the tiles in the shower cleaned and grout replaced and thought after an hour of cleaning it would have looked better. I was charged a $75 service call. When I made the appointment, the gal said the estimate was free and if I agree to the estimate he could do the work then. The bill turned out to be over $300. I wish there was something lower than 1 star to rate their customer service. They cancelled 2 confirmed appointments - and both on very short notice! I received an email confirmation of the arrival time for my second appointment at 8a - 9a. The technician called me at 8a and confirmed - yes we will be there between 8a - 9a I will call you with an better ETA. The tech called back 10 minutes later and changed the arrival time to 9a - 11a. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Every person I've encountered at COIT has been rude and unknowledgeable. Not to mention they are extremely overpriced even with their never ending 35-40% off. Now they call me to ask for my business and when I politely decline they hang up on me. Find anyone else for your cleaning needs you'll be glad you did.

I wish I would have read their Yelp reviews before I booked my appointment. Their employee called the morning of the service trying to move the appointment up 3 hours or better yet were we really interested in getting our carpets cleaned? We agreed to move the appointment up 90 minutes. The employee arrived and put only a few pieces of furniture on blocks and then quickly cleaned the 2 bedrooms. I'm only giving them one star because they answered the phone. They screwed up my appt twice, each time with some lame excuse about what happened. The second time they screwed it up, the carpet tech said he had a meeting scheduled for the time I was supposed to get my carpet cleaned. I've been using them for over 20 years, but NO MORE!!!! Their service has gotten HORRIBLE!!!! Used to be one of the best.

I guess I should have paid closer attention to these reviews. After lots of research ( or so I thought) per their website, they state they can clean anything. Fire damage, smoke damage etc. I hired them to come clean the grout in our guest and master bathrooms. First there was confusion on the appointment I had set for over 3 weeks. Then 2 guys arrive, they don't remove their shoes or cover their shoes And trail tennis shoe marks all over our floors. What service company does that. I've used many carpet cleaners in my 50 years of having my own place. This was the worse cleaning service I've ever had. The bad experience started from the 2nd and 3rd phone calls. I should have just cancelled right after the 3rd call. I told them on the phone how many rooms I wanted cleaned. I was told, and this was supported by the web site, that a representative would come out and give me an estimate. If I agreed they would be ready to clean the carpet at that time.
