Very disappointed Tried to checknin at 3, we were told rooms werent available and it should only be 5-10 minutes. We were in town for a show, and had early dinner reservations (4:30) so that we could finish dinner and make the show. Our plan was to check in at 3, take a quick shower and head to dinner. Another couple staying with us got into their room at 3, so finally at 3:50, we used their room to clean up for dinner. Our stay was neither terrible nor exceptional. Our view was out of the back of the property, which viewed the roof of the walkway to the Ford Center and the back which was the parking lot of the courthouse and into the lower income area of town. The continental breakfast was $13 (we opted agaisnt that), we had a suite, but it had no mini fridge and had one trashcan (in the bathroom) in the whole area. The skywalk was great over to the Ford center. The bar was small and the service was not good. We ordered room service at 815 and at 930 still didnt have anything. I called to inquire and they stated it would be another 45 minutes. The man who answered the phone didnt have very good customer service skills.

Located in the downtown area. Parking in their garage is not free there is a fee to park. Only there for one night $18 fee. Rooms are not clean the lamps were very dusty, the shower was super dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned and comforter had a blood stain. The comforters are not changed between guest. Floors squeak when walking. Overall don’t believe this is a 4 star hotel like it’s portrayed.

Had a wedding to get to with limited time and had to leave by 3:45. Our room wasn’t ready until 3:25, although Hilton Honors behind us got theirs. Bad
