This clinic is a joke. My husband was having a severe allergic reaction to an insect bite. The front desk staff didn't even ask what his medical problem was. She was very concerned about our insurance card and running our credit card first and foremost. After that was taken care of she casually asked about his condition and then giggled at his hives all over his face, arms, legs etc and said "oh, you must be itchy". If you have 130 dollars to waste then go right ahead. The doctor basically told me you are sick but wait a week and you should feel better, would have saved money by just going to CVS.
when i first got there the 2 guys at the front desk were very rude and snappy i couldn't hear anything they said i didn't go back until 20 min after the time of my appointment I sat in a room for almost 2hrs. 45 min of that time everyone thought i had left with my paperwork but the doctor never printed my paperwork. overall i'm very annoyed about the situation i hate to be one of these people but do not go here (also how hard it is it to make an appointment is ridiculous.)
Upon arriving we sat in the waiting area for 25 minutes before anyone came to the window (sign up at window said to have a seat). During that time, we could hear people singing, talking and laughing in the back and then discussing patient phone calls while making fun of them and the insurance companies. If i could give zero stars i would. first off, why is a business called URGENT CARE if you aren't urgent?? THEY DO NOT TAKE WALK IN PATIENTS. also, the dude at the front desk was super rude for no reason. if you're going to work in healthcare ESPECIALLY at the front desk, you need to have a little bit of compassion. please do not waste your time or money here. this place has two stars with over 50+ reviews for a reason. i wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but never again. 10/25/2023 at 11:07am.
This place should be shut down. Every time I tried to come here for URGENT care they always turn me away because you need an appointment. Who can control sudden sickness that needs written prescriptions. They also told me to use the online vid-med but they require a $79.00 fee. What kind of urgent care operation is this??? Shut it down and bring in a real care facility. INSANEE!
Had an appointment, drove all the way there only to find out that they're closed for the day. Why would you allow me to schedule an appointment for a day you're gonna be closed, and why was I not notified?
College-age daughter injured her knee and went to them to get assistance. They were unable to locate her insurance, though she showed them her active insurance card and a screenshot of the insurance coverage online. They did not make any attempt to call insurance company or address the situation, but instead made her wait forever while in pain. She ultimately had to leave to seek help elsewhere because of their horrible service.
Just came from Fastmed in Boone NC, My 22 year old son who is a student at App St. He has his own insurance under Champ VA, First they wouldn't see him unless I the Veteran gave my name a SS number, he informed the Dr. that he has tried everything over the counter she wanted to prescribe Prednisone which he can't take so she said she was calling in a stronger prescription and antihistamine prescription, We got the paper work and said that's it we read it and the Dr just said take over the counter medicine he has already take... read more
