Arrived at 7:20pm with my granddaughter. We were refused service because they close at 8pm and had 4 people waiting and no more slots open. No one even bothered to ask what was wrong. I ended up taking her to the ER and she has scarlet fever!! I will never go back to Fast Med and do NOT it to anyone!!

My treatment at fast med was no treatment at all. I left in horrible pain and filled with disappointment. They asked me at the front desk “how will you be paying today”. I handed them my card and thought that was that. My billing address is a PO Box and without my permission they changed my address to my physical address, where I do not receive mail. There’s nothing “fast” about this urgent care AT ALL.
On the door it plainly states walk ins welcome. But I got there this morning and I’m turned away because I don’t have an appointment and they seem to be booked. Well take you sign down. That’s false advertising.

Thank you for the review, Katherine. Scheduling a visit online offers you the convenience of selecting a preferred arrival time. During this time we’re encouraging all of our patients to schedule a visit online prior to arriving in-clinic to limit the number of people waiting in the lobby.
Do NOT come here for COVID testing. If you do not have a doctor's requisition, they will bill you $256 even if they say at the front desk that it is free. If you do have a doctor's requisition, they will bill you incorrectly, and debit money ($128 per test) directly from your account, when it should be free. Their billing department has not picked up my calls (10+) or responded to any messages left (5+) about this error. I had to bring our 1 yr old son in due to fever/nausea/vomiting and was seen by Bethany Wray one of the Nurse Practitioner. Her first question was who was the childs pediatrician and i had to respond as of right now we see UNC health-care professionals in Blowing Rock because we are turned away from the Peds Office. The look I received was so degrading and of such disgust towards me. Why does it cost more to be seen there with insurance then self pay? $144.36 with BCBS Student and 119.00 self pay?

Terrible service.. I went there because it was Memorial Day and regular Dr. office not open, I was having some type of allergic reaction.. I checked in and was told that it would be 1 1/2 hour wait. ( I was the only person in waiting room, and only 1 car in parking lot) when I ask why, the lady at window said that was the way it was. She took my ID and insurance card made copies, I filled out all the required paperwork upon turing that in, I was told that I have to give a credit card number to be kept on file.
