I had one of their clients hit me on December 15. Beginning on December 16 i was able to get the adjuster and he had the personality of a tree. After that, I never heard back. Several days later,I tried contacting the insurance company, Voicemails and emails were never returned. So I got this car insurance on January 13. I canceled January 16 from Georgia until today, January 22nd I find out that there’s a cancellation fee and you get 10% of your money back mind you I didn’t get this when I cancel my policy. I was told later when I had to cancel the policy because I live in Kansas I bought the car in Georgia and both the car in the car insurance allow me to get insurance knowing I will never have license in Georgia now they throw me around like I’m a piece of trash. Same story as everyone else. One of their insured drivers rear ended my son and totaled his car. I have placed over 20 documented recorded calls to the adjuster and probably six to his supervisor. The supervisory notated she had left me a voicemail. My phone records prove otherwise. Received one email stating they were investigating whether the driver was covered. Our small business truck was hit in the rear by a gentleman insured by First Acceptance Insurance, this occurred in June 2025. Our truck was considered totaled, our driver was stopped waiting to turn left, their insured just rammed into our truck and police report charged him 100% for the accident. The First Acceptance adjuster had our truck moved to another auction holding location 8/21/25. The adjuster assigned said she would have a settlement offer by 9/5/25. If I could leave a negative star I would. I was involved with someone who was insured with them and the person that hit my car totaled my car. I have not spoken with the property damage adjuster since the accident but he sent me a letter in the mail. I leave messages and contact the person supervisor I get nothing. I would recommend people just getting an attorney to deal with this company. I just found out last week that they have accepted full responsibility but that’s all I heard.

I agree with EVERY single complaint on here about First Acceptance Insurance! I TRULY believe they are a scam company. Their driver backed into me, reported the claim, was assigned ******** *………..no call, no follow up….. Nothing. Then after a month got denied even though I had a police report, pictures, text messages admitting fault…..the works. Went through my insurance company Progressive, they sued them for repayment of my claim. Won, and I got my deductible back 1 week later. I hope they go out of business. I really real... read more

I had the same experience as *** ** Also, in the reviews. I was rear-ended by one of their insured given a claim number and an adjuster. When I spoke with the adjuster the second time he said that they were not sure if they're insured was actually insured. Apparently she had initiated the policy that day. Now they can't be reached. They don't answer the phone. They claim nobody's available. I've sent several emails. They don't respond. I've let them know at I intend to seek legal action against this company. I have not been able to access our account for months now to view policy status or notices. You are not able to view or make any changes to your policy. Very hard to speak to a live agent over phone too. I have never had insurance to where you could not view or change anything online let alone not be able to make payments or access your account information.
