This has been the worst insurance "company" I have ever had to deal with. One of their insured hit my PARKED vehicle in a lot they should not have even been in. I had to have my car towed and need a rental and have yet to receive the promised adjuster call. I have called 10 times in the last 24 hours. This place is a JOKE

This First Acceptance (or Hugo) is a joke of an insurance company. Talked to an adjuster last week about one of their drivers that rear-ended me. Adjuster ******** ***** said she would call me back the same day as a claim had already been started. LIES. Didn't call back. So I called, left voicemail. Nothing. Called back next afternoon. Crickets. Had a lawyer call 3 separate days. Nothing. So having to file my insurance after being without a vehicle for 2 weeks. Both policy start times and police reports are time stamped to ensure accuracy of coverage. With no active policy at the time of the collision, there is no coverage available to either party at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I have a claim due to a policy holder wrecked into my car. It has been 2 weeks and there has been no call backs. This is unnacceptable due to me being out of a car and lost wages due to missing work. I have reported the insurance company to the ohio department of insurance and also getting my lawyer involved. This is absolutley ridiculous and should be illegal. Horrible business to deal with when your a Customer of a Claim that the accident was caused by one of their Clients that hit me its their Clients fault per police report. This company can not come to a decision to pay for my vehicle to be fixed with the Body Shop. It's been in the Shop since May and no one cares at First Acceptance. This business is a waste in society. A waste of time to even exist. Pathetic company.
I have been waiting since October 19th 2025 to have my vehicle repaired, at this point I can not even get a call back from their claims department so that I can speak with someone regarding the status. Extremely dissatisfied with First Acceptance Insurance Company. *** *

June 16 2026, was hit by one of there insurance policy holders. like all other reviews they don't answer the phone. or they put you on hold for hours. The CEO is a retired Air Force veteran. I am having trouble believing this. Integrity is one of the core values. I know this because I am an Air Force veteran. I have contacted my insurance company. Filed third-party property damage claim (#**********) after their insured rear-ended my wife's vehicle on April 7, 2026. The other driver verbally admitted fault at the scene. First Acceptance denied liability on April 30, 2026 with no factual basis and no explanation. This company is 100% the worst insurance company out there you cannot convince me otherwise. First off, the wait times for calls are INSANE. If you don’t call them bright an early in the morning, you will be left on hold for at minimum 30-45 minutes. It happens every time.
