So disappointed, they refused to board our dog, not because they have ever even seen her. Not because she is bad in any way. Why? Because she is a Great Dane!!!! Thats right! It was assumed she would be to much to deal with because she a Great Dane. They are breedist! It took a week and an half of waiting for a call back for nothing. I am just discussed.
I had agreed on the phone with Jessica for a two day stay for my dog at 43.99 a night, however when I went there the people that checked me in mentioned that 43.99 was only the boarding fee. My understanding was that with a basic boarding fee my dog would get 4 potty breaks and spent some reasonable time out of its cage. The salesperson insisted that there was no outdoor time other than the very short potty breaks and basically my dog would stay locked in a cage for two whole days if I did not book the lucky dog package ... read more
My labradoodle puppy spent a week here for training when she was still a puppy. Came back with kennel cough and a scratched ear and was afraid of almost everything thanks to her "training". After speaking to past employees of FDR, they also agree the trainers here do not treat the dogs the correct way. Went to a different training and boarding facility with better results, and a healthy dog. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
I am completely appalled! I dropped my two-and-a-half-year-old 30 lb dog off of this kennel for two nights 2. The very next morning I was very excited to call and checking on my dog. After getting a call back after 3 phone calls, I was informed my dog needed to be upgraded and pay more money because he was not eating number one and number two he needed more one-on-ones because of whatever reason, after worrying all night I picked my dog up on the second day. He is shaking his paws are red from water or trauma from licking th... read more
No good things to say about this place. Boarded my two GSDs here a couple times when we needed last-minute and/or emergency care. Each time I've picked them up they both smelled so gross and came home with kennel cough. Won't take them here again. It's a waste of money to pay for the veterinarian bill to administer vaccines that they REQUIRE and then pay money to board them and then to pay more vet bills to treat the upper respiratory infections they bring home.
I have taken my small yorkshire terrier here a few times over the past year or two and did not have a problem until the most recent time. Along with my dog we have two other yorkie dogs in the house and my dog has always been the "stocky" one and a bit bigger than the others. When we picked her up she was clearly about 2 pounds lighter even though the staff had told me she ate all of her food. Along with that she has almost lost her vocal cords and her bark is hoarse and sounds very strained!! She was very thirsty and lethar... read more
The staff is extremely friendly and courteous and responsive to phone calls. The staff gets 5 stars. However, that is where it ends --- Here are the facts: 10 month old female DDR East German shepherd boarded for 14 days. Prior to being boarded, the pup was never exhausted for more than a few hours after "extreme" training and excercise - the epitome of unlimited energy and drive. The pup came back wet, lethargic, emaciated, depressed, and has had chronic diarrhea for 6 days now. She also smelled like she had been both e... read more
I tried this facility several times. Their prices are unstable and could go twice as what was "estimated". The staff are nice but the service is mediocre.
It's been about six years since I brought my dog in and she has never been the same since. She is deathly afraid of high pitch sounds, especially whistles. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought after some time she would get better. She still has panic attacks when a whistle from a sports game or movie is playing on TV. It really isn't fair to her or me for spending that much money on training so she could be traumatized for life. I brought her in even after the training camp for daycare and touch up training.
