I'm on the fence with this one. It seems like a nice facility but I have some issues. 1. They constantly try to up sale and charge for every little thing when making a reservation. 2. My dog has stayed twice. The first time she came home with a massive case of diarrhea, the second time kennel cough and an eye infection. 3. When I picked her up, her dog bed was COVERED in white longer dog hair. My dog has a short solid black coat. Don't waste your money. I spent thousands on a dog and thousands on a training program, only to have unsuccessful very basic request for results. The trainers there call themselves professionals but they are anything but that. The head trainer Mike talks and knows everything dog, but he could use a lesson from a dog in listening. I purchased 30 credits back in June 2024. I was specifically told they do not expire (I confirmed multiple times on different occasions because it was a great deal). I have only used two credits due to my dog having some leg issues so she can't really do outside when it's cold and I just had some life stuff happening so I didn't have time to take her to daycare. We boarded our two dogs for a week. First time at this facility; I trusted the reviews of the business. Big mistake. The 11 year old couldn't even walk when we picked them up at 12:30 pm on a Sunday. it was a zoo, many people waiting. The worker came to get us because he couldn't walk and said, "He always does this to me." He literally had to be lifted by the hips to get him out of there. I took my pup in for her free trial today. I'm a first time dog owner and was nervous about leaving her, but she is super friendly and is such a love bug so I didn't think she would have any issues. The lady who took her initially was great and even sent me a photo of my dog before she had to leave for the day. She said I would get another update later, but never did. Please beware of boarding your pet here. I left my service animal here for a 5 day stay/training with the social dog upgrades. I left prepared food as well as toys meds ect, which was lost and not returned including the narcotics. I also had my dog go thru a full checkup/bloodwork the day before boarding so you can imagine my horror when I picked him up and he had lost 11 pounds, had diarrhea, was throwing up and was in bad shape, he was very very sick I took him to vet as soon as they were available. We have been using Folsom Dog Resort for a few years but lately the service has gone downhill and the prices have gone way up. Our last visit 2 of our dogs were not fed one of their meals? And they had NO explanation as to why. Plus they gave us someone else's dog bag with their food. In addition, their scheduled baths were 2 hours late which we had to wait and there was no notice to us that they were running behind schedule. We ended up taking our 3 dogs home wet!! The trainers are cruel to the dogs, all indications are these people don't even like dogs. They are not welcoming to the dogs on arrival. They don't even honor their own contracts then tell you it "was implied." I wouldn't ever trust my pet (or money) to this place.
