I like this salon and have been going there for over 12 years. I appreciate their customer service which is very consistent and I like the spa atmosphere. My disappointment is that the haircuts and color services are inconsistent from stylist to stylist. For the prices they charge I expect near perfection. I can overlook an occasional bad haircut from the person who has been cutting my hair for years, everyone has an off day but I do expect to get what I asked for. I have had 2 fabulous haircuts and blowdry by Kim, can't say enough for her professionalism and listening to what the customer is looking for. It is a little spendy to get a cut here but the hair cuts she gave me were worth it.

Unfortunately Braswell no longer works at Gene Juarez. I have since gone to Feri and Devyn and they also provide great eyebrow waxing. Devyn cracks me up, and Feri is very nice. Both are great ladies! LOVE Gene Juarez!! Got my first Shellac mani today with Sarah! I'd highly recommend her- she was such a wonderful person- I thoroughly enjoyed my mani. I go here every year for my birthday and a couple times a year for a haircut. The customer service is always the best and I really love the calming vibe you get when your going to get a massage. I love the waiting room the swiss shower I love it all and will continue to go back.

I asked for a haircut. I showed her half a dozen pictures of what I wanted. She looked at the pictures and kept one of them on my phone so she could look at it. AND THEN SHE DID SOMETHING ELSE!!! My hair is so short and ugly, I will need to wear a hat. I will never go to Gene Juarez again!!! Actually less than one star.

This review is intended for salon management. I booked a blowout appointment at Jean Juarez Salons in Redmond Town Center after confirming the salon could accommodate ethnic hair. I was informed that only two stylists handle this hair type. I had my appointment with Alivia D. I came in for brown hair color, something warm and subtle. Instead, my hair was turned very blonde/caramel-golden, which is not what I asked for at all. I was extremely upset. To fix it, another stylist was brought in, but instead of correcting it, she removed almost all the color. I should've believed the other 1-star reviews. I wasted $250 on a color and haircut, and the results were extremely disappointing. The color job was sloppy -- the colorist didn't even bother to clean the dye off my hairline. The stylist talked nonstop the entire appointment and still managed to style my hair poorly. The sickeningly sweet smell in my hair is disgusting and makes my eyes water. This happened the last time I used the same color specialist at Gene Juarez Redmond Wa. The smell lasted over a week even with repeated washings. It finally dissapated.
