This location continuously cancels appointments and offers no additional options. This is the 3rd time Berrnie, "the artist," as Gene Juarez called him, canceled four hours before our appointment that was booked six months ago. Gene Juarez makes their clients pay 50% of the haircut if canceled within 12 hours. Gene Juarez then needs to honor if their "artist" cancel on clients and provide a 50% discount on the next haircut. Highly reccomend finding other places than Gene Juarez for haircut.

I have been a regular customer for several years. However, tonight I received an email telling me that my appointment has time has been changed. I was never asked if this would work out for me. It was simply done. End of story. I'm looking for a new salon.

I went there today for a color consultation. My appointment was at 11:45 and nobody ever came for updates or any input whatsoever I sat there til 12:10 and finally left because that wait is ridiculous I looked in my Gene Juarez app and it was marked as a past appointment. I ended up going to Bishops in downtown Bellevue and they were amazing and gave me the answers I needed.

I give a one star because at least I got my roots colored. Otherwise, this "Award Winning Salon" didn't offer me so much as a drink of water, certainly no head massage during the washing phase, an insulting blow dry and I had to pay $110! Scheduling the appointment was worse. Terrible phone reception because the girl was working out of her home with obvious poor reception and struggle through that for 1/2 hour. I had to call back for another appointment scheduler with better reception and a better handle on the schedule. ... read more

Today I went back for what I thought would be a 100% comp for the shitty service I recieved. Kendel was amazing with customer service as well as Hair color. The only reason I am rating this a one star is after the fact when I check out I tell her this is a re due and she is still trying to charge me for a full service. I explain I am only paying for the tip and that is it!!! She asks this is a re due? I am explaining I have an email from the manager and she asks to see it. The most unreliable salon in my experience. I scheduled a haircut in September in advance. On my day of service I got an SMS that my stylist is out and I have to reschedule. In November I schedule a haircut with another stylist. And guess what? On a day of my appointment I got an SMS that my other stylist is out and I need to reschedule! What a joke! When you can't make it, they charge you. When they can't make it, they behave like nothing's happened. Fix your booking system and value your customer's time!

The absolute worst. Two times they have canceled on me at the very last minute. If the customer were to do the same, they would have to pay up. But the salon can do it without any repercussions or accountability. Save your time and your money, and find some place else-as I would be doing in the future.

I scheduled an appointment and missed the appointment by 5 minutes so I called Gene Juarez and they kept me on hold for 30 minutes before telling me that I could come in. When i got to the salon, they told me that I could not get my hair done and I would be charged. I expressed to them that I was just on the phone and they told me I could and the stylist said I could but the women at the front desk would not let me in. I've gone to the salon in the past, and gone elsewhere. I returned few months ago, and had great experiences with their new talent colorists. Both were talented and were great at conversation and meeting client needs. I had booked an appointment the day before a big event and just got a text that the colorist is no longer with the company and to call or use their app to book a new appointment.
