I've always had a very good experience here! Jasmine is amazing at cutting curly hair and I always leave feeling great about how my hair looks. I also enjoy getting facials from Ericka. Here's where I deduct the star... It seems like the past couple of months, anytime I try to schedule a massage, it gets cancelled last minute. Today I ended up seeing a new hair colorist. Josiah. He is a master colorist and worth every penny. He asked questions about my hair goals and offered suggestions when I asked him for some. He recommended a treatment to brighten up my hair that had dulled in spots from all the coloring it had received and sun exposure. He educated me on this product and told me the cost would be $25 extra dollars. Yes, it may be more expensive than some salons, but having complete trust and confidence in the person styling your hair is worth it! Kim at the Redmond Town Center location has cut my hair for the past several years and is so talented! Mika is a senior colorist who does an excellent job of listening to my ideas and then creating exactly the look I want. You can't go wrong with either of them!

I wrote a previous review about 4 years ago--the last time I had my hair done here. I thought I'd give them another chance. It is no surprise they only have a 3-star rating. I just walked in for my 3:30 pm appointment for color to learn that "someone canceled your appointment on 11/7." Say what??! My haircut following was also canceled. I loved the manicure I got! However this location is far from relaxing. Front desk doesn't answer their phones right away, and the lobby area where you wait is cold and loud.

Gene Juarez is still my favorite. The last couple of times I tried to save money by going elsewhere and confirmed that you get what you pay for. I was eager to come to Gene Juarez - just 10 weeks from my last appointment at the other salon. Taylor did my partial foil and toned down my gaudy looking highlights from the other place by giving me highlights and lowlights. I have been going to this location for massage regularly now for about a year and a half. I see Brooklyn for massage and body scrubs as a part of the membership program Gene Juarez offers and I have never had any complaints with Brooklyn or the front desk staff. Brooklyn is an incredibly good massage therapist and is knowledgeable about her craft.
