I couldn't be happier for my father to be cared for in the way he is at The Halliwell. The genuine affection from staff, the range of interesting activities, the beautiful spaces and the total respect with which individuals are treated. It is a happy community and I enjoy stepping into it every time I visit.

Mum initially went to the Halliwell for a couple of weeks of respite care while I took a holiday, they were so helpful and supportive organising this. When I returned from my holiday, Mum decided she would like to stay there and went into a newly decorated room with a terrace outside. The Halliwell is such a lovely, warm and welcoming place, everyone is so friendly and the staff are lovely. From the very beginning, we were welcomed as part of the family. We attended the Jazz Summer Party on the 19th July. It was a truly splendid day which was beautifully organised . The staff were so attentive and the food quite excellent. Thank you Halliwell. The day was further enhanced by the first class jazz quintet and beautiful weather !

We have just spent a really pleasant afternoon at Halliwell listening to the most wonderful jazz band and having a delicious buffet lunch, drinking pimms in the beautiful garden and chatting to friends relatives and carers. As always , the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the staff were amazingly attentive whilst joining in the fun. I have been most impressed by the all round care displayed by all the staff at Halliwell. It has been a delight to have experienced their devotion and service. I would have no hesitation in recommending Halliwell to any prospective resident.

During my mother's long stay at the Halliwell Care Home, it truly became her home. She made wonderful friends and was very well looked after. The home was very clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and caring. The nursing staff were proactive and communicated really well. Her preferences for food were catered for and she enjoyed taking part in activities. Thank you so much for all your dedication, care and support.

My wife was in the tender care of Halliwell for five months during her terminal illness. The care, support and kindness she received throughout, from admission to her passing, was absolutely outstanding. Every member of staff and management went to extraordinary lengths to make her final journey as caring and happy as was possible. My family and I were delighted that we chose Halliwell for her, as nowhere else could have possibly been any better. With grateful thanks.

We cannot thank the team at Halliwell Nursing Home enough for the care, compassion, and dignity they showed to my mother-in-law during her five months there. I have stayed in a number of care homes in the last year, and this is by far the best. A major contributing factor is the local management who always go above and beyond, and nothing is too much trouble, which reflects in the attitude of the rest of the staff. It's an excellent care home.
