BE WARNED! THIS DOES NOT HAVE A SCANNER My last Brother printer was HELL ON EARTH! It constantly kept changing the port\would not connect. I had to jump through multiple hoops just to get it to do ANYTHING. But..after reading the reviews on this printer I thought I would give them one more chance. Hey! This printer prints 50% of the time (thanks Windows for not designating a port but some WDM thing). Welp. THERE IS NO SCANNER ON THIS PRINTER. Nope. None. Awesome. You've been warned.
Don't waste your money on this machine I have had great luck with Brother HL-L8250CDW and thought wrongly that HL-L8360cdw was just a newer model. WRONG! This is slow with very expensive toner replacements. I will never buy another Brother printer. Very disapointed with this machine.
Never stays connected. This printer goes into sleep mode so fast by the time I get it connected and open a file to print it says its not available even though my network says it is connected. I can't print from my PC half the time and it only really works from my Pixel 4 xl phone. My wife's Samsung S9 has never been able to print documents from it. Both phones have the same version of Android.
It is a lie! We purchased this August 2018 on the premise that it would outlast the ink jet printers. Being very expensive in comparison, we expected a LOT MORE out of this, but from day one, it has been a rough ride. The first complaint is the paper curls. We have to catch it while it is warm and roll it the other direction to flatten it, but it never really flattens. The ends still curl. does not line up images when printing double sided does not print full bleed. So you have to leave white around your images then cut them off later. But when you try to cut off the white edges, you'll learn the hard way that this printed does not line up images properly front and back when printing double sided (regardless of whether you try to print duplex or one side at a time). One side of the paper will come out slanted.
Died after 2 years - no power Had this printer since early 2018 for a home office. More than once, had some issues with it going to sleep and not wanting to wake back up. However, it's been working well the past several months; was hopeful they finally fixed that problem through a software update. However, this weekend, it apparently died in its sleep. Not a printer? First of all, this is not a Brother printer? Instead, I received a Black and Decker Air Conditioner, which was nothing I ever looked up to purchase. Not sure what might've gotten mixed up here...
Extremely disappointed I was very excited when UPS delivered our printer. We use Brother printers at work, and I was looking forward to having one at home. Unfortunate, after getting everything set up, I get black marks about every inch on the right side of everything I print. I can’t find a number to contact Brother and the support on their website is terrible. I will be returning this printer.
Cannot display SSID from router While SSID from our router shows up on every devices expect on brother printer. Could not get it to setup print wirelessly for which we purchased it. Customer support is slow to response, but couldn't fix the problem
