printer returned wrong one
Power Failure purchased the product back in 2/12/20 and on 8/17/20 the unit wouldn't power up and to make things worse, the product support ended 8/12/20, very frustrating. now i have to work with manufacture warranty process, requires me to ship it on my own expense and no guarantee that it will be covered. not sure if its worth dealing with this or just purchase a new own.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER Replaced two toners and all was fine - replaced yellow toner and won't register there is toner - once it says you are out you cannot print a thing - have tried some of the tips people had mentioned and nothing works so now I have two new toners I cannot return on top of a printer I have only used for a month - not to mention the time I tried solving all of this. piece of junk. Dead on arrival. Pictures all pink and red and mottled and dithered. Also their instructions were unclear how to remove all of the shipping restraints. Part of one of the retainig clips for the cartridges popped out while removing the orange splastic material also but was fairly easy to snap back into place.
Very slow Very slow . And it takes forever to wake up.
hello hell of constant jams! This big fat heavy turd of a supposedly good printer at a higher price point then your average cannon is constantly jammed and categorically refuses to print two sided. I miss my old printer that just got on with it and printed stuff. For reals, the point of the damned thing is to print. So if you are looking for a printer that will graciously print on command, without the tantrums, walk on dear reader, this brother will not provide.
On my second one---Still No Good The first printer i bought from here, amazon, it wouldn't fed paper from the front only the tray. Then it started having problems where it was not heating up the toner so when it printed, the toner was smeared all over the paper. every single page i printed, the toner was smears. i reached out to the company which has horrible customer service and they say everything is your fault. they finally sent me a whole new printer, a replacement. not even weeks later, i began having issues with the re... read more
Receiving Data death Error- Printer dead after 1yr 5mo. Out of warranty After just over a year, we now have an unrecoverable error that just says receiving data. Printer cannot function now and the customer support basically says the printer needs t be taken to a service center. We print very little and maybe have gone through 2 reams of paper since purchase. It's essentially a recycling item now and we got just over a year out of our $300+ purchase. Will not repeat buy.
Doesn't last long I purchased this 15 months ago but, since I was required to work from home for 3 1/2 months I used it less than a year. It no longer will print. No error messages and I cannot get a test page to print using the LED screen. It didn't even use up all the original toner. NOT worth the money.
