    buggy app. Always says firmware update failed. Slow to update the progress of the cleaner. Can't add a schedule like the aqualink 614iq in American market. Can't add a custom cleaning duration, need to keep pressing +15 to set a longer clean every time you start the cleaner. Can't control the cleaner from the app if you initially started the clean from the physical control panel. The 4050iq itself is a good cleaner, the app is total garbage and the most frustrating part of the product.

    Shuts down in freeze protect mode. The app stops working in freeze protect mode. A technician reset it by having me open the antenna. My wifi signal is fine. I continue to get the message "Your System is Offline" and the little circle is red. Very frustrating.

    Hi Tim, when Freeze Protection is running, it overrides the ability for you to turn off your filter pump, yes. You should be able to turn other equipment on and off.     The app is very glitchy. Not loading, have log out and in again almost daily. Sometimes completely frozen, need to force close and restart. Not to mention, antenna should be able to handle 5ghz in 2025.

    total garbage. ive tried over 10 times to reach support. email, phone and nothing. can never reach anyone. let messages on both email and phone and nothing. don't spend your hard earned money on this product because you will get no support when it breaks. the app takes at least 3 tries to actual get in and adjust your system. half the time you have to log all the way out and back in. it's never ever worked first time. and support was no help again.

    terrible app design, functionality, etc. needs upgrade, and also there could be a function to pair the app with google home
