    I usually have to clear cache and data on the app for it to work. plus the controller unit outside is not stable either. I have to try multiple times to stop the pump before it works. It's not a Wi-Fi issue - the router is literally on the other side of the wall where the controller is mounted. I don't have any issues with anything sitting much farther away - like cameras. When it does work it's a nice feature to have. Update 2/7/2026: Closing the app after each use helps.

    Terrible app. Unreliable, crashes all the time. Doesn't offer necessary controls. extremely dissatisfied, but cant replace with anything so also locked in.

    Needs updates worse than bad. Typically it will work but requires restarting and is slow and glitchy.

    they need to update this thing it's ridiculous it works whenever it wants too. I may get lucky and get it to connect like once a month briefly....we did everything they say, 2.4 gig wifi at least 10 mbps.

    It's very unreliable sometimes appearing to respond to changes. But then not actually following through plus the user interface seems pretty outdated compared to apple's.

    App will not connect to Polaris Freedom SC. I tried several times. I was able to select the device, and I got to the party where it needs to connect to my Wi-Fi but it just kept saying "Connecting..." and nothing else. This app is garbage.

    This is the worst app ever. Sometimes it will take days to get on. Customer service is also very unprofessional never help you troubleshoot to resolve the issue.
