    recent update broke access for Android. it now waits for a while and sometimes grants access and sometimes does not.ios works fine w same creds. when I can get in on android still can't get to web gui to program automation. this app continues to be awful.

    Just like many reviewers I'm having multiple firmware update error messages. when you call and wait on hold only for them to tell you to move the freedom robot closer to the router for 48 hours, but that still doesn't resolve the issue. it is a pain to try to use the app with the constant messages popping up and no easy way to resolve. Whatever this update process is, it clearly doesn't work.

    very bad connection with the cleaner

    Evidently the only way to get a response is to post a negative review. I posted a 2nd review on May 14th and received a response to email the company. I sent an email on May 16th and have yet to receive a response. It is now June 1. Robot works great and has good features, but the app is horrible. Firmware never updates. Lights on control module do not work so you don't know what mode it's in, they quit working very soon after the purchase. Very disappointed!

    since new this app has a persistent message that there is a firmware error. multiple attempts to contact support are ignored. makes the app useless. zero stars for the app. negative stars for customer service.

    update: nothing much different to say. 2 years in the cleaner still does the job, but the app is garbage. You sell yourself as a "smart solution" and the easiest part , the interface/app, you never update. love the pool cleaner, but the app is buggy. connection errors even when cleaner is clearly on my network. status circle (whether cleaner is running, or idle etc) shows blank so unable to know status of cleaner if away from home. clearing cache sometimes helps, sometimes does not.

    Great cleaner, horrible Android app. Thank God I have an iPad too because although the android app and iPad app look the same, the android one is full of bugs. the iPad app works flawlessly. android app constantly says the firmware update failed and doesn't allow you to do anything because it just resets to the main screen. also the remote hardly works on android app and lift system also bugs out and doesn't spin or respond correctly. again iPad app these functions work fine but not android.

    firmware update error on evplux 6050i pool robot always for months. App doesn't display pool robot is on or current status. it works to turn on the robot but does not change display on app interface. so you dont know if it has worked or not. got to visually monitor the robot. Useless! app needs full redevelopment. stuck in endless firmware update failed loop.

    please for the love of all that is mighty change the way your updates are processed, I have sent several requests for assistance and heard nothing, hope my direct email gets answered. I have the issue of failed firmware update like so many others. can you help me?
