Nice stay in Waterloo Great room, super service. Casino is first rate and all restaurants on site feature good food at a reasonable price. Check out the pool area.

Pretty good The rooms aren't very noise resistant. Anytime another room was entered/exited the noise from it would wake me up. So the insulation between rooms and from the door to the hallway wasn't good. But the room was clean, the pool area was clean and there are multiple dining options. The lobby stunk like cigarette smoke but it didn't carry up to the rooms.

It can't always be like the first time. We have stayed here multiple times as we travel through Iowa. Historically speaking it has been a positive experience. It really has been. If you are planning to stay, keep in mind, this is a simple casino, not incredibly snazzy like a Vegas casino, but it's not bad. The prices are great and that matters to us. The games tend to be the low end games as they don't carry a lot of the movie/tv video based games I love but it's okay. My stay this last time left much to be desired. This las... read more

Restaurants located in the hotel Rooms were quite, clean, and safe. The staff at the Lone Wolf we're great the 3 nights I stayed and ate there. Not a lot of menu options but the food was good. I did not use the casino at all because I can't handle the smell of smoke. I wish they could ventilate those better!

Great except for smoky smell I would give 5 stars but it smelled a bit smoky. Ok it's a casino - so that's ok in the main areas. But our non smoking room also smelled a bit smoky.
