While scouting out a couple of new ceiling fans, the frustration of not finding exactly what we wanted was becoming a nightmare. Driving north on Hawthorne Blvd I spotted Lamps Plus. Previously, I was told they did not carry the type of fans I was looking for, however, they were online at Lamps Plus so perhaps now they are also in the store. Wanted to give this location a five star rating. I was helped specifically by the salesperson Alicia but I will say everyone I spoke with was helpful and friendly. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and were able to point out the different options that fit my specific situation. I purchased it, and when I found out it didn't work for my space (due to issues with the space, not the product), I was able to return the product to the location incredibly quickly and easily, probably the easiest return I've eve... read more

Wanted to share a positive note. Our experience today was fantastic. We were skeptical that our ceiling fan needs would be met. Then we met a floor rep who was solution oriented. The rep allowed us to browse while remaining available for questions of stock, options of color and size. Our rep was superb in noting our preferences and matching our room sizes and ceiling heights with what was going to work. Heidi, thank you. Lamps Plus - Torrance - THANK YOU! This rating is so high because one employee, Mencleck saved the day. I walked in with a broken shade from a vintage lamp and an oversized light bulb I had never seen before. I was about to go and look around for two ceiling fans, but was discouraged by the person who greeted me, who ushered me to the front counter for help. She let me know the store doesn't carry shades like the one I needed. I tried to explain I wanted to look around first in case I wanted to buy something. I don't usually write reviews, but I feel the need to highlight the EXCEPTIONAL customer service I received from Bambi, the store manager, and Tatyana, my sales associate, at the Torrance Lamps Plus. They truly went above and beyond to help me find the perfect chair to match my existing sofa. This was no easy task! I must have gone to the store 3 or 4 times and each time they would help me carry around pillows from my sofa and cushions from the store from place to place, even going outside, to see how they matched in vario... read more

Very nice floor representatives. They have an array of lamps and other furniture and decors. They have a lot of things on sale - fantastic design and quality at a low price. And they were busy on a Sunday [Mother's Day] afternoon - people must love this place. I will definitely go back!
