I had a very frustrating experience today with Madison Reed's booking system. This is now the second time I've had an issue, and it's becoming a pattern. I needed to simply adjust my appointment by about 30 minutes, but the app does not allow you to easily modify your time without canceling and rebooking. When I tried calling for help, I was disconnected multiple times and couldn't reach a live person. That alone is incredibly inconvenient for a service-based business. This is an updated review. My first visit a few days ago was underwhelming, but after contacting customer service, they promptly offered a color correction appointment. Today's visit completely changed my experience and made me fall in love with Madison Reed. Nick and Rachel at this location are truly outstanding. Nick corrected my color (which I didn't even realize was possible--magic!) We also created a long-term plan to support my aging hair.

I had such a wonderful first experience. Sev did my color and Julie did my blowout, and they were both incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable, and I'm so happy with how everything turned out. The service was amazing from start to finish. I'm really glad I decided to get the membership and I couldn't be happier with the results. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I had an appointment in studio city for all over color, hand painted baylayage and a blowout. My appointment was scheduled for 1-4:30 according to my confirmation. I admit that I was 12 minutes late to my appointment, for which I apologized, but I don't think that factored into my experience much. I look forward to my monthly visits here because it is the perfect blend of pampering and productivity. With my subscription I can keep my roots fresh, get deep conditioning treatments, and enjoy a little self-care all in one place. I bring my laptop, settle in, and actually get work done while being taken care of. Rachel is incredible, attentive, talented, and always makes the experience feel special. This salon is such a gem and I couldn't recommend it more.

I didn't have the best experience at another location, but decided to give Madison Reed another try. This time I went to Studio City and fortunately it was a much better experience. I was immediately greeted as I walked in and was walked me to my chair while I waited for my turn. Veronica was very pleasant, attentive and helpful.
