It coved all the gray hair completely! But the color is too dark. Darker than my hair. I went to Madison Reed color bar in my area and they match it to my hair but unfortunately it is too dark. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars,

Nice and clean place to have your hair pampered to look beautiful. Staff is friendly and professional. A place that I'm happy to go back and recommend it to my friends! Try their products. They are excellent!!!

I have health concerns and this salon accommodated my needs. I've heard about this place from my dermatologist 2 years ago. I am so happy they finally opened a location in Walnut Creek. I have gone to the other salons for years and by far this place is the best. I had many occasions when my root was not covered well or the color was off because my regular stylist was out. So happy that Madison-Reed opened in Walnut Creek, loved my experience at the color bar. Gigi my hair colorist was fantastic in choosing the right color and so informative. I am definitely coming but also leaving with my Box so I can do it at home.

So ecstatic that Madison Reed has made it to Walnut Creek!! Their color is amazing. Their products are fantastic! The salon looks beautiful!! You NEED to come visit them if you want a fresh new color or you're trying to cover up those stubborn grays! The whole crew over there in Walnut Creek is incredible!

Ok so first, I have really light, super complicated highlights and color on my hair. The problem I get is in between my regular salon visits, my grays come in too early and they frame around my forehead! I have always struggled with hiding my grays. Then Madison Reed Color Bar opened today in my hood - Walnut Creek, CA! I got my roots touched up and got a free gloss as a promotion for the grand opening. I LOVED my roots!! I have been a loyal client of Madison Reed Walnut Creek for several years and, until today, have genuinely loved this salon. I've referred countless friends, family members, and colleagues here, many of whom signed up for memberships because of my recommendation. I would not recommend this place. Don't even bother availing of their promotions. You can clearly sense that the employees are disgruntled, which creates an unpleasant experience. The staff did not properly explain the services to me, and I ended up leaving without getting the blow-dry I wanted. When I asked if I could add the blow-dry service, the employee refused and told me to blow dry it myself. The customer service was poor, and the overall experience was disappointing. unfortunately I had the most terrible experience with the store manager Madeleine Gomez. I have booked root touch up color + added style service, she told me at the very last minute they won't be able to style my hair because they were short of staff. The way she handled the situation was very rude and unethical.
