I have health concerns and this salon accommodated my needs. I've heard about this place from my dermatologist 2 years ago. I am so happy they finally opened a location in Walnut Creek. I have gone to the other salons for years and by far this place is the best. I had many occasions when my root was not covered well or the color was off because my regular stylist was out. So happy that Madison-Reed opened in Walnut Creek, loved my experience at the color bar. Gigi my hair colorist was fantastic in choosing the right color and so informative. I am definitely coming but also leaving with my Box so I can do it at home.

So ecstatic that Madison Reed has made it to Walnut Creek!! Their color is amazing. Their products are fantastic! The salon looks beautiful!! You NEED to come visit them if you want a fresh new color or you're trying to cover up those stubborn grays! The whole crew over there in Walnut Creek is incredible!

Ok so first, I have really light, super complicated highlights and color on my hair. The problem I get is in between my regular salon visits, my grays come in too early and they frame around my forehead! I have always struggled with hiding my grays. Then Madison Reed Color Bar opened today in my hood - Walnut Creek, CA! I got my roots touched up and got a free gloss as a promotion for the grand opening. I LOVED my roots!! What could improve.... Much better customer service. I was there for my appointment 10 min early. I finally got acknowledged after I said I was there for my 5:30p appointment. About 10 min later I was seated at the counter and given my gown. Nobody came to ask me if I needed anything and it wasn't until another client got there almost 10 min late for her 5:30p appointment and were starting to work on her, that's when I asked if someone was going to assist me. I had a toner put on my hair to tone down the yellow in my highlights. I was told that it would only take a few minutes to change the color and that the shampoo girl would watch it closely. After a few minutes the shampoo girl went to get the stylist who colored my roots to check the toner color..she said to wait and watch it. My wife ordered a package of hair product and asked if I could go pick it up for her. She said it is paid for and should be ready to go and if not, maybe find it on the shelf and give it to the clerk to check the paid order off and then be on your way. I've been going to Madison and Reed for 8+ years, and I pay a monthly fee to go in for service every 6 weeks. Again, I'm a well-established customer with years of loyalty. The next time I am eligible for a service happens to be on a day that I am flying to go out of town for 2 weeks.
