Went on a date with my boyfriend before a work meeting and ordered lettuce wraps for lunch. There were 2 black fruit flies right on top of the lettuce, (they were dead), the waiter was nice about the situation he felt really bad and got the manager and then the manager proceeded to tell me it was organic and a root vegetable. I told him that's great but this wasn't dirt there were wings and it was clear they were flies. Worst service ever!! Every issue we had the manager just pushed off. We waited a half hour for apps and another half hour for food. After the waitress delivered the meals she never came back the burgers were made improperly and cold! We sat drinkless for 30 min. Not worth the money and horrible service

During these times of Covid 19 We are trying to support our local restaurants and then to be treated so badly is unconscionable. Maggie's Mcflys in Southbury has no idea how to treat their customers! poor service bad food. When you close your doors look to the manager as to why!.

the food is amazing but SUCKS when it takes 2 hours to receive appetizers and a main entree.. especially when the ahi tuna nachos dont need to be cooked. the waitresses stand around and talk while empty glasses sit at the edge of tables for 20 minutes on end. not to mention all the waitresses were crowded at a table after several people arrived and got their buffet of food and drinks before anybody else did. food is great but no food is good enough for absolute shit service.

Do not order take out from the Middle one. They have no system for picking up orders. You crowd around the bar trying to shout your name to the bartender while not being able to social distance from others also waiting to pick up orders ,and you are in close proximity to people eating at or in the bar without any mask. It was a frustrating , uncomfortable experience. Also, the $15 salad I ordered , I could have acquired cheaper/better at a hospital cafeteria.

Took 5 minutes for our server to greet us. Our server was touching the rims of the water glasses when he brought them over! Can you say disgusting?! Especially during a pandemic. Drinks took 15 minutes (a beer and a sangria mind you). He dropped drinks off and we were ready to order but he ran away. He then took another tables order who sat after us even though we were sitting there waiting. Saw a couple employees not wearing masks properly. My girlfriend ordered pizza at this restaurant in Middlebury, CT. The greasy cheese slid right off the slices. The dough was also raw as if it was right out of the packaging. So bad that she has four residue on her fingers. Very disappointed in this restaurant

Drinks good- food not so much! It's more of whatever kind of food. They don't put enough effort in making their food presentable, multiple times pre covid had the bowls dirty plates with cracks in it. Not so friendly staff.

Review for Southbury experience. Ordered a Margherita pizza here for $18 dollars and it only came in personal sizes. You'd think it was large for the price and the large size box it comes in. The pizza was drenched in tomato SAUCE. I thought Margherita's came with out sauce? Someone enlighten me. The tomatoes were thinly sliced and looked more like they belong on a Krauszers's grinder. The basil looked dry and packaged. New to the area and will probably never get anything from Maggie Mcfly's again.
