The worst - Forces you to buy ink on half used cartridges The cartridges you buy won’t be half used before this printer stops working and saying it’s out of ink. Another Brother printer that just makes Brother money off of forcing you to keep buying ink cartridges and there’s few overrides that seem to work with this model. Save your money and buy something else!
does not print very well,get aCannon if you want good copies , this is sub-par does not print very well, multiple problems printers, installing ink, ADF is great no problems there, lasts about 1.5 years.
limited life lightly used for less than a year, doesn't work period. Spent a lot of time troubleshooting to no avail. I've lost faith in Brother products in general.
Slow slow printing, and multi buttons just to make a copy! Too, too slow! Too many buttons just to make a copy! Confusing!

Don't bother If I had purchased this thing local, I would have long ago returned it. You can't print a single document and it keeps saying it wants more ink, it's empty. HOW? You haven't been able to print ANYTHING! This machine is a BROTHER FAILURE.
Yet another throw away printer Lasted 10 months. Quit scanning at 6 months. Suffered constant ADF feeder jam even when not using ADF feeder. Last breakdown after I bought all new ink cartridges (genuine Brother of course.) Why is it so hard to find a printer that will last over a year? Has a one year warranty so we'll see if that is any good.

Total Ink Hog I generally only write reviews when I either love a product or consider that it has flaws that other potential buyers should be warned of, and the latter is the case here. I bought this printer, after a decent amount of research, to replace a Canon Pixma that died after working faithfully for over eight years.
