Brother installer doesn’t work Complete rip-off. The installer doesn’t work! And the installer on the brother website cannot be downloaded. I now have a printer I can’t use! And with a broken left arm I can’t send it back!!
Well, it lasted 7 months!!! Purchases on May 15 2020 and just quit working today on 12/18/2020 when it worked it was a really good printer. Very disappointed in it.
Won't last I had a Brother printer years ago, so it was several years before I was willing to try one again. Bad decision. Worst paper tray I have ever seen. Cheaply built, it is difficult to figure out where to load paper types and the scant directions don't make it any easier. The little extension that keeps prints from falling to the floor is near impossible to keep in place. Now the machine has stopped feeding altogether after 10 months of light usage. Lasted nine months May be a new record for cheap printers - 9 months. Got hung up on "paper jam" and will not reset when all steps are finished, Cannot reset machine. Cheap, flimsy printer - you get what you pay for. Either invest in a better product or assume you will use less than 1 year,
destroyer of ink Can literally see ink moving around inside the 'empty' cartridges. Printed 10 4x6 photos yesterday with all new cartridges and it's now telling me yellow is empty. Which means I can't print anything at all.
Ink guzzler.. don’t waste your money!!! Worse machine ever for ink consumption. Better of paying more for a machine with better ink usage. Goes thru ink like crazy. Twice a day sometimes more the machine runs checks for this or that consuming ink for no reason. Would not buy again and def. not recommend. Xmas money throwing this out and replacing.
Disappointed I have owned this printer for almost one year, and unfortunately have had continuous problem with it. Major issues include bluetooth connection, the printer jamming, and printing in color. Half of the time, it won't print my documents; only to have them start printing days later. When I try to print on cardstock, it jams. Lastly, it has stopped printing in color. I have replaced cartridges several times and it continue to print all color documents in a faded red color. Junk. Junk. Do not buy. Out of 10 devices only 1 will even find the printer.
Paper Jam problem Found out from local repair shop that Brother is known for paper jam problems. I have been fighting the error for 2 days. There is no paper jam. It is not possible to clear the error. Bought it in February 2020. Will replace it today.
